> 3 dayI got a few packages from Amazon before Xmas and put them in my study for safekeeping. That night I went in to do some work on my laptop, and I smelled something funky. Like a vinegary turpentine smell. I searched everywhere and didnt find anything leaking, so I dealt with it for a few days. Xmas eve comes and I pick up the cage we got for our daughter, and I ripped open the bag of bedding to put down. HOLY SHAMOLEY WHAT A SMELL! I cant even explain it! It was the bedding I was smelling for a few days, just coming through the plastic of the bag, but when I opened it I literally ran out of the room gagging. I had to go back in with my nose in my shirt wearing rubber gloves to throw it in the trash outside. I have NO IDEA what was wrong but I STRONGLY recommend going to a pet store to buy this stuff so you can smell it beforehand. To the seller: I really hope you get some quality control in place. This was horrific.

> 3 dayThis is really nice bedding, my sons hamsters love burrowing threw it. Its absorbent and keeps their cage cleaner and smelling better. I have it on automatic order, so we never have to worry about running out and its just as affordable, if not better priced on Amazon!

> 3 dayIve been using Carefresh Confetti bedding for years but I recently switched to Carefresh Natural as it is a bigger bag (60L). I thought using the same brand would allow for some bedding consistency, but I was wrong. The Carefresh Natural is so dry, with rough and dusty pieces that make my hamster sneeze -- and he never sneezed from the bedding before. I have to change the bedding much more frequently now because its not absorbent, and the cage now smells bad. The odor seeps into my poor hamsters fur and hell have to start using deodorant at this rate. This was such a waste of bedding. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone, and I wouldnt even give it away for free.

> 3 dayThis pet bedding keeps my guinea pig very comfortable. I usually start with a small layer at the bottom of the pen and add a little more during the week to cover up any mess my pet creates. My pet enjoys this bedding way more than the traditional wood or cedar based bedding and gets very excited every time we add more to his pen. I would highly recommend this product.

> 3 daygreat price and perfect quality. The bedding is soft and enjoyed by my guinea pigs. It aborbs moisture well and is good with odor control. This bedding (and the piggy waste) is also compostable if you have a compost. This is the best price I have found. Another plus is that the bedding itself is heavy enough that pieces dont go flying out of the cage as the guinea pig runs around.

> 3 dayI bought a pack to have in the house stocked. Ended up not opening the pack until a month after it getting delivered so I’m not sure if that was a factor, but once I opened the bag I was hit with a musty/vinegar smell. The cage needed bedding since I didn’t discover the smell until after I cleaned the cage, so I had no choice but to put this vinegar smelling bedding in the cage; but I will not be purchasing again.

Greater than one weekClaim of odor control is BS. Its paper that absorbs liquid and nothing else. If the liquid stinks, such as urine, it still smells like urine. Ive been through a lest 30 60L bags with two rabbits that are litter box trained, and this stuff is hit and miss. If you get it, and it is grey, then it will absorb like a sponge. If it is light brown, then it absorbs, but may still leave wetness on the bottom of the litter box. If it is a darker brown, it is completely useless. It will not absorb most of the liquid.
