No stinky smell

My poor hedgie had an allergy attack from this stuff. I’ve used this brand before in colors and never had this issue until I bought this specific one. Poor baby kept sneezing and huffing. It’s definitely not dust free. Throwing it out immediately.

Carefresh bedding in general is great, and I use it for all my small pets. However, I’ve gotten the “natural” color (a sort of pale brown) in the largest size twice now with it smelling terrible. The box, the package, the bedding itself—It literally smelled like a dead animal was buried in the bedding! Luckily, I didn’t find anything that hinted to that being true. When I’ve gotten this in other colors, it hasn’t smelled this way, and it doesn’t smell this way when I get it from Petco. The bedding itself is great, though, and I recommend it. Just make sure to get a color other than the natural color.

This is my favorite bedding to buy for my bunny. It’s really comfortable for her to sit in, and is really absorbent. I don’t have to worry about changing her litter every single day, and get a good 2-3 days out of a pan full of this. Definitely recommended for bunnies.

Great stuff...first time to try paper and I am in love.. not only is it more effective it also compost very quickly.. so your garden will never look better..lol

it works well with my rescued yellow tail field mouse however a second one - different kind began to eat it and it concerned me but he was a release anyway so I immediately took him back out to the woods.

Great product and cheaper than pet store. Super absorbent no smell which is better for bunnies lungs. I will reorder this again

No dust and good for my burrowing dwarf hamster, but it starts to smell after a few days. For reference: To keep the hamminess at a minimum, I went through this whole bag in less than 3 weeks using a 29-gallon tank with 6 inches of bedding on half of the area. The bag might last longer as my hamster gets better with his bathroom habits.

I paid 15 dollars for this on here when I normally pay almost 25 dollars for the same size bag at Petco. Very satisfied!
