My hamsters have no issue with this since I switched from one brand to another. The other brand seemed a little bit softer than this, but they did not have a huge bag of it like this one. I have 2 Syrian hamsters in self made bins and so far no problems at all. This bag last me a month.

Its the best bedding weve used for our guinea pigs. We put puppy liners underneath, but its very absorbent & we like the bright colors. Nice scent

This stuff is awesome and it contains the smell! As long as you spot clean once a week you only have to change the bedding Every two weeks, and you wont smell a thing! Also unlike wood shavings it wont trap moisture and cause possible upper respiratory infection . This huge amount of bedding is half the price on amazon as it is in pet smart!

Great eliminates odors

This stuff is good, its pretty good on the allergies and supposedly better for the animals than cedar. This is also way cheaper than buying local. its crazy but it is, so enjoy.

I have been buying various hamster bedding products for several years and this is by far the worst ever. It is a clumping grey color, doesnt fluff at all - and I am guessing the whole bag is shredded cardboard. There is no softness whatsoever, and the dust is terrible! When I pick up my hamster to play with him, he is covered in dust. He loves to create a cocoon inside his igloo using the bedding to surround himself, but this stuff is so coarse, it is impossible. Im throwing this bedding out and switching back to the Kaytee Clean and Dry.
