Baby Einstein - Baby Wordsworth - First Words - Around the House [DVD]

I was so excited to get this video. My daughter loves it and it is helping her to tell me what she needs in the house. Thank you so much!

I like this video! I thought that it would be a little more up beat than it actually is! It plays slow songs, so when my baby watches this video she gets sleepy!

my 19mt old daughter pay some attention but then whent on to play she prefers sesame st so i will put it away for a month or two i like the fact that it teaching sign language and also they you can chooSe to play it in spanish but i dont like that all the houses in the dvd are big houses and some of us dont live in big house it would have been nice to see a couple of average small 2 bed houses or even apartments

This DVD is too slow moving. It doesnt hold my childs attention. Buy Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Neptune, Numbers Nursery, Neighborhood Animals or Noah instead.

We have an active 11-month old that has taken to this new Baby Einstein video quickly. The fact that we were already working with him on signing some common items made this videos use of sign language very helpful. The DVD takes viewers through the house, showing puppets using the items, people using the items, etc., with sign language included to help a baby learn some early signs. My occupational therapist wife has said that use of sign language helps develop speaking skills more quickly, so we are hopeful that this new DVD will add more to our sons signing vocabulary. The music and colors are enough to entertain, and we have no problem interesting our son in the video (which he now begun signing to see). Whats that tell you?

My kids just love this DVD. The music is typical of BE. I was also able to fast forward/skip through all of the commercials. So if you love Baby Einstein, this is a definate must have!

Good educational video to keep the 8 month old twins occupied a couple of times a day!

my autistic 3 year old loves this movie and so does my baby, its nice having a movie that they can watch together, it teaches words and sign language. has very cute puppet shows throughout the movie. its so cute I even got one for in the van :)

I just watched the video with my son and he is a big fan of Baby Einstein Videos. This is the only video that did not hold his interest. There are alot less puppet time in the video. The video goes through the rooms of your house and reads the name of the common words in that room and they do sign language in it. It is definately educational but he started to walk away from the tv. I probably would not buy it if I had the opportunity to review it.

My 15 month old boy LOVES B.E. dvds. He watches baby wordsworth with great concentration and he is even doing some of the signs. As a mom, Im a great lover of Baby Einstein products and I would recommend to all kids. Ive read some of the reviews and its quit abvious how different kids are from each other. That doesnt mean that dvd is bad its just not working for some kids. Its working for my son so Im very positive about it. As an adult, Im so bored with the dvd and the pace but the baby einstein company didnt make the program for my age group.
