Greater than one weekI bought this for my sons first birthday. He has loved Baby Einstein since he was 5 months old (its the only show hes allowed to watch at such a young age). He also started learning Baby Signs when he was six months old, so I knew he would love this video. It is true that most of the signs are not ASL, as one reviewer mentioned. However, the writer of that review should probably read more about Baby Signs. The purpose of teaching signs to an infant is to be able to communicate with the child, period. It is not to prepare the child to communicate with the deaf. Baby Signs are meant to be as simple as possible, so that young children can grasp them easily. I do agree with the person who mentioned the two - minute ad for Little Einstein that cannot be skipped. It is a pain to have to sit through it every time my son wants to watch the movie. However, it is an overall wonderful show that both taught my son new signs and kept him entertained.

> 3 dayExcellent job, very much for the 1+ crowd though - I think 14 mos olds thru 2 1/2 year olds will love it. My 10 month old was not as enthralled as normal, much more time spent teaching the signs rather than puppet shows, thus, its different enough from other BE DVDs to warrant a purchase. My 3 year old watched with and was fascinated by the signing. The bonus materials are great too. The DVD I bought had a bonus Disney preview DVD of the Little Einstein series coming up in October 2005 attached to it - that series looks really, really good. Also, I agree with the other reviewer that the music on Woodsworth is soothing and music box-y, but in a good way. I am so glad for Baby Einstein, it is a lifesaver in our house!

> 3 dayMy son was speech delayed, but could pick up sign language very quickly. He learned every word on this dvd within a few weeks of watching, and we were communicating. He loved it! We didnt start watching until he was around 17 months, though; I am not sure how appropriate they are for very young babies. For my son, they served a great purpose.

Greater than one weekIn an effort to get an early start on teaching Words, I have selected Baby Einstein because my grand daughter is mesmerized by the music, tone and bright colors. Seriously when we try to video call with her, she keeps watching TV if the video is on.

Greater than one weekMy kids just love this DVD. The music is typical of BE. I was also able to fast forward/skip through all of the commercials. So if you love Baby Einstein, this is a definate must have!

> 3 dayI put this in the DVD player when my grandson was here for a visit and it wouldnt play. The message I received was unreadable. When I looked at the disc it is scratched. The seller was contacted and Im waiting for a replacement. So far that has not arrived. I only wish they had played it to make sure it would work.

> 3 dayThis is quite a bit more advanced than the Baby Einstein First Signs video, so were glad we did First Signs first :-) I wish there were more babies signing or talking, it is mostly cartoons/puppets and occasionally one adult or an older school age child will sign. As usual the narrator says the words and you rarely if ever see kids talking. Some of the signs are multiple steps and may be too hard for kids under 3. Some of the words are long, like telephone (could have shortened to phone) and computer. Most of the words are fairly common and easy to say though like bed and blanket. My 22m old enjoys this video and attempts all of the signs and words.

> 3 dayI like Marlee Matlin and some of the other DVDs in the Baby Einstein series so was looking forward to this one. It is unfortunately not that great for teaching sign language (I prefer both My Baby Can Talk and Signing Time). The worst part of it is how long a child has to wait for the actual content; there is no way to skip the COMMERCIAL for Disneys Little Einsteins!
