My 15 month old daughter was bored with this DVD at first, but now she loves it. I think its as good as the other movies. The commercial at the beginning is annoying, but my daughter likes it. Ill probably have to buy that movie too.

We already have a big collection of baby Einstein DVDs. That is the only one that my son refuses to watch. He loves all of the other ones, especially baby Neptune and baby McDonald. This one mostly shows nature and paintings, almost no puppets. This DVD is better for the older kids of 3-5 years old. My one year old was very bored

DVD arrived in great condition in a reasonable amount of time and the quality was excellent as stated.

My daughter started watching this DVD when she was 2 months old (now 3 1/2 months) and she coos and smiles while watching the puppets and transitions. I bought the Neptune discovering water DVD and she doesnt watch it as intensely. Not sure if its not as colorful or what the issue is. This one is definitely her favorite so far!

Great vid for our two grandbabies: ages 7 months & 11 months.

While I appreciate that the concept behind the Baby Einstein product is classical music set to slow moving screen, this one takes the cake!!! We have every dvd in this series and Baby Monet is definitely the worst!!! They show alot of famous pieces of art but Im not convinced that an infant can appreciate it!!!!!!!! Pass on this one!!!

I have bought this for 3 of my friend and would highly recommend it to anyone. My child has loved it from about 6 months on and is now 18 months.

I have almost all of Baby Einsteins dvds. I would say this one of the better ones BE has produced. Great puppetry (babys favorite parts), wonderful seasons scenery and other eye appealing imagery. My baby started watching Monet since 6 month of age and he loves it! Its a treat for me to watch him smile and see his eyes light up at his favorite parts. First Signs, MacDonald, Neptune, DaVinci are also pretty good. I only allow him to watch an hour a day. And the critics who say babies watching tv is no good, Id disagree. My 4 year old niece who watched BE since 2 weeks old is extremely bright and very talkative, using advanced vocabulary for her age. AND shes bilingual. Im not saying this result will happen with all babies but I certainly dont think it hurts them intellectually.

Baby Monet is miss, miss, miss and hit. There is some gorgeous footage of the changing seasons (where you see a solitary waterfall, or a tree morphing through the four seasons), but the rest of the DVD is a disgusting and painful wail of a flick. First of all Julie Clark gets underused. You briefly hear her little pixie voice, but she never gets to recite any of her whimsical, pretty, poetry. Then there are these less-than-cute zebra puppets. Their day glo colors are annoying. The tall zebra should have been paired with something friendly and small and round--instead of that horrible bird. Colorful zebras bouncing up and down are a bore. The puppets do this dated endless dance with attitude (yawn) toward the end of the DVD that will make you want to throw baby food at the television! The zebras are superimposed over gorgeous footage that gets soiled with their day-glo presence. Most of the puppet jokes are awful (especially the one with the blow dryer). The video has relatively few toys and mobiles in it and the footage it uses of babies looks like a string of the bad outtakes that should have been dumped in the waste can. The DVD also recylces old Baby Einstein music and mixes it with some ho-hum new stuff. For the sake of the series, Disney should give complete creative control back to Julie Clark for the next 3 DVDs, hire Markie Post to do the puppets again, and get Bill W. to do ALL the music. The credits at the end of this DVD are too long. Too many untalented people had their mediocre fingers in this mush of a pie.

Although the theme and season footage are great, the overall video lacks three of the things that my son enjoys most about Baby Einstein videos: 1) Fun puppets, 2) Many pictures/scenes of real babies, and 3)Upbeat music. This video is mediocre at best, and we are generally a huge fan of the collection.
