> 3 dayI took a real chance on this thing. It was made by a company Ive never heard of, it was the cheapest monitor in its class by far, and I was getting it open box condition. But I gotta say, Im glad I took the plunge! Usually when you get something that costs so much less than its competitors, theres a reason for it. It may still be a good product, but compromises had to be made somewhere. But in this case, I cant find them. Its very well built, works flawlessly and doesnt have any weird compatibility issues like my old Acer monitor. Looking at other reviews of this monitor, the general consensus seems to be that the only downsides are some minor color inaccuracies and that it doesnt get very bright. Well, I cant speak for color inaccuracies because I couldnt care less, but this thing was almost painfully bright when I first turned it on. Now maybe thats just because Im coming from a monitor that was..adequate, to be polite about it, but I really cant imagine someone needing something brighter than this. The only complaint I have is that the buttons along the bottom need to be marked more clearly. Theyre just slightly raised icons just barely darker than the rest of bezel; impossible to see without extra light. But thats par for the course when it comes to monitors. Ive seen ones that cost 3x more than this one that still have the same problem. Overall, a fantastic monitor even without factoring in the price. But when you can snag it for $200? That would be a good deal even for a 1080p monitor in the 144hz class, let alone 1440p.

> 3 dayGreat for gaming, no dead pixels or any issues whatsoever three years in. Love that I can move it around in so many angles and it still feels sturdy. The color display and brightness is excellent. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayFor starters, the picture quality is awesome, about as good as you can get without starting to waste money. The stand is solid, very easy to adjust and sturdy feeling. Its also easy to assemble. Overall Im very happy with the monitor and I plan on buying a second.

> 3 daySo other than the questionable appearance of the damaged packaging the product inside appears to be everything Id hoped. I was concerned due to a few reviews referring to dead pixels and the warranty not covering it unless they are in a row... This is sort of a rotten thing when they advertise a 3 year dead pixel warranty. No mention about in a row type thing. In my experience I rarely had more than 1 pixel out at a time and usually if I had more than one they were never near each other and they are distracting when they catch your attention. I thankfully do not seemingly have any pixel issues. 144hz is up and running, actually think Im getting a bit more. The monitor has a section that reports the Hz and if freesync is active. The monitor has great articulation for the price point, and though I wasnt sure Id like the curve, I dont have an issue with it. I would still be fine with flat but I figured why not at this price point. As for the controls and settings in the monitor, there are many. I heard a complaint about it not holding settings in some situations but luckily for me the out of box settings are seemingly good for me. Putting the monitor together was cake, pretty much tooless assembly, unless you want to snug up the base a bit. CABLES, it comes with both a HDMI and DisplayPort Cable along with the power cable. The fact cables are included was nice I think the DP and HDMI cables are around 4-6ft long probably on the longer side. The power cable is a typical PSU style power cable and about the same length. Still not a complaint just an observation. All in all you will be hard press to get this much value at this price range. AOC has come a long way from the last time I had one in my possession. Will update this review in the future if needed, but if things work out this will stand as is.

> 3 dayAfter buying a ViewSonic monitor and being disappointed by the fact that it could not render 1440 P at 120 Hz on the Xbox series X, I decided to give this AOC monitor a try. To my delight all I had to do was plug it in and turn it on and immediately I was able to get 1440 P at 120 Hz and HDR 10 on both the PlayStation five and the Xbox series X without a problem. I wish I would’ve gone for this monitor on the first try. I highly recommend it, if you are looking for a quality gaming monitor don’t hesitate to buy this one. The AOC CQ27G3S is awesome!!
