For the price of this monitor, I cannot really complain too much. Getting 165hz and AMD freesync is not something I can really complain about. If you play an overall bright game that you could benefit from a higher refresh rate then this is not a bad choice. If you play games that have a higher dynamic range or are on the darker side you would be advised to stay away from this offer. This panel has a high refresh rate and claims a 1ms mprt, but does not do it particularly well. You will notice significant ghosting and smearing of dark objects over lighter backgrounds. At this price I expect that you can find a better deal, that being said this isnt a complete waste.

Es un buen monitor para juegos, en especial por su tasa de refresco, pero en 1080 navegando, parece que las letras tienen sombreado.

I really love this monitor with low input delay and high frames per second but I don’t know why my speakers aren’t working can someone please help fix this problem.

After hooking up this screen, updating the drivers in Windows 11 (seriously, go to the website and update the drivers!), and tweaking some of the screen settings, I noticed that the desktop images have lines in them. There are also other spots I noticed initially, but cant remember exactly where, so Im not sure if the lines are a thing with VA screens or it happens that mine does it but others dont, however, since it isnt noticeable in games and theyre not visible when Im coding or writing, I just will likely learn to ignore it. Besides that, I love having a 1440p screen for just about everything I do. Yes, it gets a little weird when Im scrolling on a doc (from the motion blur), but still, at about 2 feet from the screen it makes everything easier to read and way easier to deal with reading long lines of code or writing and I dont have to scroll as much to keep working on the same section which is definitely nice. Yes, the blur means I can no longer slowly scroll read, but again, since Im scrolling far less, it actually probably is a wash overall. I also absolutely love the high refresh rate even though Im definitely not using it to its fullest with the games I play (LoL, Timberborn, Bloons TD games, etc) and on games where you have fewer graphic control settings (looking at you Bloons) you can get this interesting screen flashing, but its actually pretty minor when you actually are playing, but games where I can control the settings, in the game itself it doesnt happen. It can sometimes occur on loading screens, but again, pretty minor. Overall, its a decent budget 1440p monitor with decent capabilities and fits my desk just fine. I do have it on a monitor arm with my second screen and though the arm was designed for 24 inch monitors, the curve means it can fit the 27 inch just fine without messing up my secondary 24 inch 1080p screens angle. As well, unlike some of the other brands in this price range, it did have a Vesa 100 mount and took a standard computer cable for power, so I didnt have to run a separate cable (I already have a computer cable splitter to power my 2 monitors) versus a lot of brands now, so that was a plus for me, but might not be for you. Lastly, its got a bezel thats not too thick, but the monitor controls without their software are hard to use, so thats also something youll want to download if you buy the monitor to use as you tweak it for your environment.

For this price this monitor does very well. I also have a more expensive LG and this one looks better.

I’ve been an owner of the 27” 144hz AOC Monitor since 2020 and I can say this monitor has lived to my expectations greatly. The performance is great, it is still responsive to the millisecond, and it works just fine. I haven’t had any dead pixels or any bugs with it. It works perfectly fine to this very day. Honestly a 10/10 monitor and it was the first monitor I ever bought for my gaming setup.

So other than the questionable appearance of the damaged packaging the product inside appears to be everything Id hoped. I was concerned due to a few reviews referring to dead pixels and the warranty not covering it unless they are in a row... This is sort of a rotten thing when they advertise a 3 year dead pixel warranty. No mention about in a row type thing. In my experience I rarely had more than 1 pixel out at a time and usually if I had more than one they were never near each other and they are distracting when they catch your attention. I thankfully do not seemingly have any pixel issues. 144hz is up and running, actually think Im getting a bit more. The monitor has a section that reports the Hz and if freesync is active. The monitor has great articulation for the price point, and though I wasnt sure Id like the curve, I dont have an issue with it. I would still be fine with flat but I figured why not at this price point. As for the controls and settings in the monitor, there are many. I heard a complaint about it not holding settings in some situations but luckily for me the out of box settings are seemingly good for me. Putting the monitor together was cake, pretty much tooless assembly, unless you want to snug up the base a bit. CABLES, it comes with both a HDMI and DisplayPort Cable along with the power cable. The fact cables are included was nice I think the DP and HDMI cables are around 4-6ft long probably on the longer side. The power cable is a typical PSU style power cable and about the same length. Still not a complaint just an observation. All in all you will be hard press to get this much value at this price range. AOC has come a long way from the last time I had one in my possession. Will update this review in the future if needed, but if things work out this will stand as is.

I bought when it was on discount but its definitely worth the price it made my 1080p look bad and all the times are and hertz are as posted

I LOVED this monitor and the depth of color. I thought I had finally found a great 2K gaming monitor...until I watched a video that had lots of black in it. The bleed is so bad I actually thought it was some effect on the screen. Did a backlight bleed test and it was ridiculously bad. I really did not want to send it back so I tried adjusting the brightness, the contrast, and every other setting I could find. Didnt change.

This was a huge upgrade for my 10year old monitor. Saw a big improvement in my gamming.
