> 3 dayTo start out with I have not been a Windows fan for years. My plan was to buy this and turn it into a Linux laptop but I decided to see what Windows 10 was like. The last time I tried it I was not that impressed. That was not the case this time. I used if for a few hours and now a month later it is still Windows and I plan on leaving it that way.

Greater than one weekI bought this computer to watch some YouTube videos, play the occasional video game, sometimes work, and write up some word documents. Not really doing anything crazy, the typical personal computer. I bought this computer in March and about 2 months after purchase I noticed it really struggle to load some content. Wasnt a big deal until about 5 months in when I couldnt do anything else on the computer if I had a YouTube video streaming. I started to use this computer for single functions at a time and it was working ok. Now, about 6 months into owning this laptop I am trying to do some pre recorded online classes for work. Not live, not remote work, just pulling videos off of an online school program. I could not load the video at all. Overall...if you are doing very simple stuff that doesnt require internet access...buy this laptop. If you want a laptop to act how you expect...dont buy this. Dont let the attractive price and the good name of Acer distract you. Many corners were cut when creating the hardware for this computer.

> 3 dayNever buy a laptop from a third party. I did and the laptop never started. I sent it back and immediately bought one from Amazon not a third party and it works fine. Both were Acer laptops.

> 3 dayThe laptop and specs are okay but for the same exact price you can get the Asus with the same processor same 8 GB of memory and a bigger hard drive and fingerprint sensor in the mouse pad.

> 3 dayafter 3 months the power connector on the notebook seem to be loose and the charging connection became very sensitive and intermittent. I contacted Acer and was told that I could send it to Texas from MASS and wait 15-20 days for the repair to be made. This is not acceptable. There are 4 acer authorized service centers in my immediate area that could repair it on site. I tried multiple charging cords so I know its not that. There are DYI instructions to replace the conntector yourself. I asked if they could get me the part, but doing so would void my warrantee.

> 3 dayWe bought this Acer for our 19 year old son for his gap year program. We bought it on Nov.10, and now, on April 6, the built-in mouse pad is no longer working, and the computer isnt recognizing the battery, so it only works while plugged in. Very disappointing for a 5 month old computer! Definitely not recommended.

> 3 dayIt lasted just over one year. Poor keyboard quality. Poor performance - can barely hit 30 fps on most basic games. Invest in a better quality computer
