I bought this laptop for online schooling because of the HD camera. The specs are also pretty decent, however, 4 months in and the camera became blurry. I contacted Amazon support and Acer Support. It has to go back to change the camera which would take 15-20 days to repair and you have to pay for shipping. cheaper to buy an external camera. Other than the camera its a nice laptop.

TL;DR: amazing laptop all around. If youre on the fence, Id suggest getting it. The feature set at this price point is something that only one other laptop has, and I still believe the keyboard is better on this one. Ryzen 5 4500u is as good or better than 10th gen i5 intel laptop CPUs (Zen 2 cores make a ginormous difference). 6c/6t.

I bought this for myself as I had to, and still do, teach remotely from home. Our school is still lacking computers for the students who are remote learning, so I really needed to turn in my school laptop for a student. I did my research, and bit the bullet, so to speak. I am thrilled with my purchase! I wish I had done it sooner. The screen is larger than I thought and the colors are sharp; the computer runs very fast, even with all the programs I had to load on it; both the cam and audio are clear; and it looks great, too! Very pleased!

Im pleased. Its what I wanted and expected. My only complaint is the sound levels. They are underneath. I couldnt get it loud enough to hear certain apps. I went and bought Bluetooth speakers.

Ive been working on personal computers since the early 80s, and feel more than proficient in learning new software and processes. But I am not a super techy person, and the inside hardware details of usual laptop reviews escape me. So, when my laptop aged out (got clumsy about handling upgrades) and I felt the need to upgrade to a new system, I made a list of what I wanted to experience with a better machine.

This was what I was looking for!!! I had an SSD ( 500 Gb) hard drive and 16Gb of RAM and now its even better!!! Awesome!!!

Works smooth and efficient. Mostly just surf net for research and work and write papers but I have been very pleased with performance so far!

Great quality! I can connect my AirPods and phone via Bluetooth. Backlight keyboard turns off after a couple of seconds which is great for movies at nighttime.

Had it just over a year and it is now trash, the charging port is messed up and cannot be replaced - wasted money
