Bought it in the USA. Product claims worldwide warranty coverage. While traveling within the first 50 days i discovered the camera was not working. Reached out to local Acer Support..they demanded money for repair. Reached out to Acer in the USA they wanted to have the product shipped with my expense to US or Canada. All i needed was an authorization to have it repaired abroad. Inefficient thinking and practices. NEVER>>NEVER> NEVER again an ACER product.

This is a good laptop at a good price. The lighted keys are a plus. Lacks a touchscreen but that is in the specs. Loads very quickly with the SSD boot drive but the drive is very small and you may have to add a drive if you have a lot of pictures and files. The only problem I had is adding a secondary hard drive. I have worked with Acer and Western Digital Customer Service, ordered what I was told would work, but the connectors would not match up. Amazon did take the drive I ordered back. I am now going to try the SSD option, but I will have more money in this laptop than I would if I had I got one with more storage ad memory. If you will need more storage, this is something you should consider.

I bought the Acer Aspire 5 Slim laptop on Prime Day for $270. The laptop is equipped with 4GB of RAM and Windows 10 S mode. It worked fine, but I upgraded it with an additional 8GB of RAM and converted it to regular Windows 10.

Got this for my mom and setup was a piece of cake..... powers up quickly and she very satisfied with the function. I like the backlight on the keyboard as well. ....satisfied.with the price and quality

I received this computer for a gift and used it for online classes only. The computer screen began to flicker shortly after I started using it! It was only occasionally at first so I just dealt with the issue. I tried some software updates - NO not the problem. Over time the screen became worse and worse - to the point where it blacked out and I only saw lines on the screen and it was unusable so, I took it to a local repair and they said that a wire from the computer to the screen was not properly installed. It was definitely a design issue and the acer representative told me so. Since the warranty was out of date they offered to repair it for about the cost of the computer :( Worst computer ever- I would not recommend buying it! The support was no help either - so I would stay away from this brand all together!!!!

This is such a quality laptop for the value price. The low ram can be easily upgraded for under $30 and theres everything needed to add a 2.5 SSD under the hood. Very pleased with this purchase. The screen also will absolutely not be beat at this price point.

Overall this laptop is top notch for the price.More advantages than disadvantages. I would recommend!
