I needed a computer. Its great for what I use it for. The only complain I have is that doesnt stay charged very long unless you have it connected all the time.

Good....but refuses to accept a charge once in a while...anyone??

The screen is a nice size and presents a clear image. The luminous keyboard is a fancy gimmick which actually does help in a dark environment and the auto-dim feature is very useful when watching a video. It has a speedy start-up for the operating system and programs also start quickly. The speakers are a bit weak and an external speaker has been necessary sometimes.

Basically the title says it all. Theres nothing too outstanding that this laptop does to really shine above the rest but at the relatively cheap price point ($280 on Prime Day for me), its hard to go wrong. Inside is a 120gb drive, and space to add a secondary 2.5in drive. Though it likely voided the warranty, its very simple to do that yourself. While you have the back cover off, Id also recommend upgrading the ram as 4gb is NOT going to cut it with Windows 10. There are two slots, I bough a second stick of ram to get it up to 12gb total (8gb + 4gb) and threw it in at the same time as the HDD. With those two upgrades done, you have a nice machine sitting in front of you, worth quite a bit more than what youll end up paying for it. The build quality is not as good as I would hope for, but the keyboard is back-lit which I didnt expect at this price point. Overall its a good machine with a lot of potential, just be careful carrying it around because durability is a concern.
