Love this laptop.

ive had this laptop for about 8 months and it still is like new. i do recommend to upgrade the RAM and the SSD but i only did it cus i intended to game with the laptop. even so, it is a great laptop and i absolutely recommend.

Needed for school and didn’t want to spend too much money. Great low price and perfect for my needs. Glad I purchased.

Horrible, touch pad stopped working within a month. Tried reinstalling drivers and everything nothing works. Never buy

I have had many laptops and this one fits every box for me. Its fast, the keys light up, screen is high resolution and bright, light and slim also perfect size. My son keeps taking it and using, now Ill buy him one to stop the madness.

This laptop has sat open on my coffee table for less than 2 years now. Ive only rarely closed it and only adjusted the screen occasionally for better viewing. In recent months Ive notice the plastic splitting around one of the screen hinges along with a resistance to moving at all. Ive now discovered that the hinge on that side is completely frozen and torn loose from its plastic mounting. Its a shame that such a fine electronic device has been destroyed by poor mechanical design. A little research suggests this is a common problem with the Aspire. I am now trying to decide whether its worth it to replace the aluminum screen cover just to be able to screw in new hinges, and whether they would last any longer than the first ones.

Fast boot up, great 1080P resolution, expandable (added 4GB additional RAM and a 1TB HD) and great value for its $365+tax price point.

I ordered this Acer Aspire 5 Slim laptop on prime day. The AMD Ryzen 3 3200U CPU packs a good amount of processing in its two cores and two threads per core. When I received my unit, I went through the Windows 10 mini setup. The system ran fine in the provided Windows 10.
