> 3 dayPackaged in a bubble bag. Lucky the bulb turned on, should have been in an outer box.

02-11-2024Once I connected the bulb, the inside light broke. I technically would even call it a broke after first use since it didnt even turn it on, it broke off immediately once connected to a power source.

> 3 dayBulb does a good job of producing heat but within 1 week the men’s fell off of the light and fell into turtle tank. Looks like there was a silicon/glue seal at some point that separated.

Greater than one weekLong lasting bulbs, great for turtles. Not much can take my turtles abuse, but they havent broke one of these yet. They are like a standard halogen bulb but with protective glass to cover the bulb itself. Ive used several sizes through the years with the same great results. These last much longer than other non halogen bulbs Ive tried in the past.

27-10-2024They dont last forever but they work great. Our turtles (and the catfish and goldfish) splash a lot but the bulb trucks on like its no big deal. The lap is safely away from the water and rarely gets wet but I have no complaints. The turtles seem to enjoy basking and they get plenty dry and warm under it. My only complaint is that the Petco near me rarely carries them so I order multiplies here on Amazon. I show up the day their trucks arrive and theyre Lways out or didnt order them. If youre shopping around Ive yet to see a retail have the same prices Amazon has and its worth it to buy in pairs to have a spare on hand.

> 3 dayI bought two. One is still going strong, but the other burned out at about 700 hours (I run them 12 hours a day on a timer). Pretty pissed that a $10 bulb lasted 1/3 of the time it should have...
