Just what we needed. Great brand!

This light is great for the turtle. Shes happy, Im happy, we will most likely get another one when it burns out. Overall very happy.

Once I connected the bulb, the inside light broke. I technically would even call it a broke after first use since it didnt even turn it on, it broke off immediately once connected to a power source.

Quality seems to be decreasing. my first purchased lasted a few years. Then I started buying them annually. Now they cant even last 5 months

Its just a light bulb. Not much to say. The turtle likes to stand under this lamp but he (she?) is not very discriminating and seems to have no preference for one brand of bulb over any other. I took one star off not because this lamp is not as good as others but because NONE of them are great. They cost to much for what you get and burn out to fast. Someone should make a five star lamp.

The hours of usage is not accurate. I keep my bulb on for my RES turtle probably 10-12 hours a day, and the bulb only lasts me probably a month till I have to replace it. Ive tried both the 50 and the 75 watt, both are the same. Ill get like 300-350 max use time. 2500 hours doesnt even come close
