> 24 hourI bought two bulbs, one I used and one I kept on reserve. When the bulb I was using no longer worked (after about six months). I used the reserve bulb which was DOA. Caveat, be sure to test bulbs before you store any away. My turtle seemed quite happy and healthy basking under the light.
