Zilla Pet Reptile Terrarium Fresh Air Screen Cover with Center Hinge 30 x 12

Love the hinge on it........had a smaller tank and had one on it and love these covers..........they are durable and hold up to my cats sitting on them!

The package was sent with partially opened, the frame inside was bent severely. I was able to bend it back into place but whoever packaged it didnt tape it shut entirely and it was clearly semi-crushed. Otherwise its a fine frame for a 15 gallon tank.

The size in bold letters says its 12x24 but it isnt. Its well over 12.5 inches and my lizard can easily escape. Theres no refund available, apparently, even though their description was misleading. Usually Amazon is great, but for some reason, a refund wasnt available. I gave the screen to my mom, who has another aquarium that this fits much better. She has miniature tree frogs so escape is much less of an issue for her, and shes very happy with the hinged, screened cover.

The product came bent but because the metal is thin, we were able to bend it to make it fit. Overall it does what it was intended to do.

Received 1/31/17 and probably didnt unpack and place on turtle tank for 7-10 days. Today is March 26, 2017 and it already is rusting. Very poor quality. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is that it arrived promptly, was the right size, and hinged.

This cover was used for our 55 gallon fish tank since we were unable to find an actual tank top to fit the deminsions. The hing allowed the back part to rest on top of the filters and still able to protect the fish from the curious cats. Very sturdy product and cleans up well each month.

Mine was delivered with two holes in it. It looks like something heavy landed on it as well. The box was fine. I am returning it and I ordered another one. Hopefully the next one is good.

I was hesitant to make this purchase for my 55 gallon tank but it ended up fitting like a glove! I have a home with all types of animals & this was a temporary fix for where my guinea pig was. It opens easily enough you dont have to fight it but not easy enough for any critters to get out without a little trouble. Now I feel comfortable being able to put lizards in the aquarium without the top getting too hot or melting. Definitely a relief!!

High quality & fits/works/looks great.

Package came badly beat up. There were some cosmetic issues upon opening. The screen may be heat resistant but the metal frame is not. I do not recommend for any reptile that requires a high basking temperature due to fire hazards. Contacted seller about this issue and they were willing to exchange but I had to pay for shipping, not worth the money.
