Does exactly what I wanted. Easy access and keeps turtles in, allowing natural sunlight in for good health, & keeps kids/dogs/wildlife OUT (as well as leaf debris, etc). If used like this outside (on a glass tank), however, you must have it where it will STAY in shade or your pets will overheat & suffer until they die. Even though it is a screen, it still traps a lot of heat. Overall, for me, this is just what I needed. Good product.

This fits well on our 20 gallon Thrive tank. The lid that came with the tank melted on the frame of the door because it was stupidly made of plastic in that section. This new lid is all metal. The hinge opening is nice and roomy so we can easily get our beardie in and out, along with all his stuff for cleaning. There is a very small gap between the front of this lid and the front of the terrarium because this lid sits on top rather than sliding into place like the original lid. It works fine for our (still growing) beardie, but a smaller lizard, snake, or spider may fit through that gap.

It was perfect. The lid is not a tight fitting lid but that wasn’t what I needed. The mesh is a firm metal grate, not a flimsy mesh like a screen for a window. The frame is also a sturdy metal. No complaints

Great to have large access to the inside of the tank without having to remove the entire screen.

While it does serve its purpose, it is super flimsy and came dented and bent. It DOES cover the top of the tank, and the hinges DO work properly, but for the (fairly high) price I paid I expected somthing far sturdier than what I received.

Received the item bent its very flimsy Im not sure how long it will last but I guess it will work for now

Whats there really to say about a screen top? Its a good quality product and cheaper here than anywhere else I found online.

Purchased to put on a 55 gallon aquarium with a bearded dragon in it. Works fine. The lights rest on top without issue. We used a clip on each side of the back half to help keep the cats from knocking it off and then the front still folds open so we can have easy access to the inside of the tank.

Worked perfectly on the new 40-gal tank I purchased. The hinge make it nice to be able to lift to feed the turtle. Quality product at a great price.
