The lid is exactly what I wanted. Fits great far as the right dimensions. Only issue the lid arrived bent. Had to slowly bend it back so it would seal properly. Ehh it’s close now. Had to add bricks and clips.

I was pleased with the way this screen lid feels and the hinges work very well. Ive had problems in the past with hinged lids being balky and hard to lift, but this one is great. It works smoothly and doesnt pop off-center when open, making it easy to close the tank back up quickly and without fuss. Highly-recommended hinged lid for 55 gal. aquarium!

Its pretty good. The size is accurate, its a little bit bigger than my 30x12 tank, but I like it.

I like this cover overall. We use it for our Beardies tank. Fits a stock 55Gallon ok. With the divider in the center the lights that are over the tank are always in the way. Not as easy to get in and out of as it looked when I bought it. If they has skewed the hinge by 1-2 I could leave the lights in place and still get my arms in to clean the tank or get our bearded dragon out. So, Ok, Not great is how I would rank this.

Dont waste your money on this. i didnt listen to the other reviewers because i thought that there was some sort of mistake. NOPE! I now have a permanently bent up screen cover. $30 thrown away. the only thing holding this lid down is my screen clips but its still noticeably bent. i always find something i love about an item and NEVER wrote a bad review but i just HAD TO with this one. PLEASE FIX THE PACKAGING FOR THIS ITEM! will not recommend. absolutely not

I bought this for use with my 55 gallon aquarium and it fits perfectly. I wanted a mesh top because I have a 40 fluorescent light I keep on top of the lid as an aquarium light. I also needed a lid that had a hinge because my filter and automatic fish feeder need an open top, or at least an opening. This works great for my needs and looks nice too.
