this product works as described. Summer time is really annoying me, I adopted a cat and feed her, realized that put feed and water. ants come around. I tried some products to kill ants, it works few days then ants come again. I use this tray, and no need to kill ants anymore. and really easy. My lovely cat can drink and eat clean food.

This plates really work. Ants were getting into my cats wet food constantly. Since using these not one ant has gotten into food. Thank you

Simple & effective

It doesnt come w a bowl.

I was skeptical at first, but it actually works. And were constantly in my cats food bowl. After this they only attack the pieces my cats drop on the floor. You cant have it near a wall or other furniture the ants can use to crawl up and cross over to the top of the plate. Also, if your pet is messy like mine, the ants will use the dropped pieces on the floor as a ladder to the bowl. Keep the area around the food clean and ants cant figure it out. It was worth the money. I was throwing out a fortune in food.

I have a little homeless cat that Ive been feeding on my porch, but keeping ants out of her dish was a real problem. I was using a special dish with a water barrier, but it didnt prevent ants well. I put this device under that dish, and so far I have not seen a single ant in her food. Im thrilled with this purchase!!!

It says magic in the product description and Im inclined to believe it. Where Im from ants are always always a problem. When I got a cat the ants keep getting into her food. With this tray I have yet to have a single problem with ants getting into her food. Once she dropped some food on the side that got swarmed with ants and when I looked inside the layers of the tray I could see the ants frantically running in circles trying to find a way to the top of the tray. It really works, at least with the small ants where I live, you might have different milage with larger carpenter ants.

We got this for our farm cats (picture unchecked ant superhighways) and it has proven itself nothing short of spectacular since day one (one year). Havent had to do any sort of maintenance, cleaning, adjusting - nothing - since we got it. Fire and forget, rest easy, carry on. Critical: The dish cannot touch anything else at all. Provided you keep the dish completely away from all objects, cupboards, walls, pieces of food, etc. the ants cannot get to the top. However, there are no doubt some crafty, experienced siege ants that will conquer no matter what. So, 90% of the time it works 100% of the time.

Yeah, no, dont think this really works, see picture. We will try for a round two after I wash the unit, but doubtful of its effectiveness.
