This thing is great and works just as advertised. Once the warm weather came around, we began to have an ant problem as they were attracted to our cats food. We were constantly having to kill the ants around her food, and didnt want to leave out traps in case she got into them. Upon researching, there are plenty of options out there that require moats, or buying gel to keep the products working. Once we found this one, we figured wed give it a try since it was the option that required the least amount of maintenance and additional costs. It works! The ants hung around for a few days, but now theyve given up and arent near her food dish anymore. So so easy and worked like a charm.

I use this remarkable platform for feeding my cat outdoors or indoors (ants find their way inside in early summer) and it works perfectly. No water or bait needed. Amazing!! Its made of sturdy plastic and the heavy stainless steel cat food bowl (also from Amazon) I use stays on top, despite the lack of a grippy surface. It might be too small for a large food dish for big dog, but its ideal for cats and small to medium dogs.

I was skeptical but it after I found out the first one works...and this is during the summertime when ants just have a party everywhere...I decided to get me a second one. In the end, I purchased a total of four. No ants. Now I just need to buy enough of these to sit my house on.

This tray is amazing! We had small ants all over our cats indoor food (the small ones) to the point we had to throw it out constantly. I had set the food in a dish of water, put it in different locations, put out ant bait and nothing stopped them. This tray did! Not a single ant as long as the food is on it! It even passed the acid test of also working on our screened porch. Again ants all over the food NOT on the tray and not a single one in the dish on the tray!
