Good price. Cut through my waste board to resurface it with no problems. Ran it .1 DPP @ 100IPM.

I will admit, i just got this bit and Ive only flattened one walnut slab.. that being said, cuts like butter. I would be extremely surprised to find a better flattening bit at this price range that can perform as well. Awesome product!! Would love to try the 6220 when i can.

I made a router sled and used this to flatten a hardwood /epoxy river table. I did get some burning but im chalking it up to user error and running it too deep. I stopped to clean the blade edges a few times and that was helpful

Ive used this bit several times to flatting a few slabs. I wanted a slightly smaller cutter so I could use my palm router and not overload it. This bit works perfect and leaves a great finish on my slabs. It took 2 passes of sanding after to get a great finish.

Cuts good, gets a little hot but not too bad. It cuts epoxy well.

This bit is a very nice bit, but needs cleaned frequently. Im picky and clean this after almost every use if there is a build up of pitch on it. Used mostly for flattening stock in my CNC.

This is my favorite flattening bit hands down. I use it in my CNC machine as well as in a custom built router sled. It leaves very slight tool marks, that disappear almost instantly when you go over them with an 80 and then 120 grit sand papers.

I just purchased a cnc router and needed a surfacing bit for my wasteboard. After doing a little research and asking some friends, they suggested this Whiteside bit. There are other, more expensive bits out there but since Im just starting off, I thought Id give this one a try. Worked very well for my needs and left a very smooth and level surface. Surfacing MDF produces a ton of dust so make sure you have a decent dust collection system or enclosure and of course, wear a mask when working with MDF. For the price and quality, I felt it was a solid buy.
