Whiteside 6210 CNC Spoilboard Surfacing Router Bit, 1/4 Shank

> 3 dayDid a great job leveling my 24 X 49 particle board vacuum chuck spoil board. I used a spindle speed of 12,000 RPM, a feed rate of 80 inches per minute, a .010 depth of cut and a .4 step over on this 1 router bit to make a smooth surface thats free of ripple that might be caused by an out-of-tram spindle. It took a little over 30 minutes to level the spoil board and it made a lot of very fine dust. The CNC router is completely enclosed so this wasnt a problem, but if you use this without a full enclosure, youll have fine dust flying all over your shop and you dont want to breathe that fine dust.

> 3 dayI love this bit. It cleans materials without leaving any marks whatsoever. I bought this one after wasting my time on another bit for half the price. This is still a very affordable, high quality bit. I will buy more of this one when needed.

> 3 dayI just purchased a cnc router and needed a surfacing bit for my wasteboard. After doing a little research and asking some friends, they suggested this Whiteside bit. There are other, more expensive bits out there but since Im just starting off, I thought Id give this one a try. Worked very well for my needs and left a very smooth and level surface. Surfacing MDF produces a ton of dust so make sure you have a decent dust collection system or enclosure and of course, wear a mask when working with MDF. For the price and quality, I felt it was a solid buy.

> 3 dayI have a Shapeoko 3XXL and needed a bit to clean up the spoil board. The Whiteside is simple to use. I emailed Whiteside support and they provided the feeds and speeds to use. I have a lot of Whiteside bits and love them all.

> 3 dayI bought this bit to surface my CNC wasteboard. It did a wonderful job. What impressed me most was that I had 6 steel bolts holding down my wasteboard. The bolts were set below the surface of the wasteboard and I thought that I had enough clearance to cut away 2mm off the top. I was wrong and the bit ran over 4 of the 6 bolt heads. It wasnt intentional, nevertheless I didnt stop the job as I wanted to see if the bit would hold up. Every time it ran over a bolt head, I would hold my breath as sparks shot all around the dust shoe. After the job finished, the bit still looked great. I will definitely buy this again.
