Why Jolie and Morgan Freeman lent their talents to this thing is a big question. This was non stop nothingness - no plot and the talents of Jolie and Freeman were badly wasted.It doesnt even rate 1 star..it might rate 1/2?? Why arent there more choices - like l/2 or NONE.

I liked it because it is a classic mystery, a novels Novel made into a cenematic slow burn that keeps you guessing.

Dude... I never went to see this movie in theaters. Matter of fact I bought it cheap out of the ten dollar bin. I figured that the movie would be a no brainer action flick that Id only watch once. In my opinion, (and I mean MY OPINION, this movie isnt for everyone), this was one of the most surprising and best movies I have ever seen. Wanted is very unique. Call me crazy but I thought that the story was awesome. I loved the main character. He isnt your typical hero. Unlike other superheroes we know such as Spider-Man and the X-Men, this guy is just out to do for himself. He starts as a pitiful minimum wage worker that has nothing to live for and ends as a cocky bad ass that is taking control of his future. I loved the main theme song as well. It totally fits the mood of the story. The action that I thought would be decent turned out to be amazing. Every time something happened I was either shouting WOW or nothing at all since my mouth would be hanging open in disbelief. In my personal opinion I give this film 5/5. But believe me, Im not stupid. THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! I would never recommend it to my parents or any adult for that matter. This movie is strictly for teens to young adults.

If brain-dead characters, awful narration, predictable plot points, and really, REALLY bad writing add up to your idea of a good film, then waste no time in renting Wanted. On the other hand, if you want to see an intelligent, well-made film thats based on a graphic novel, try Watchmen, Road to Perdition, Sin City, or Ghost World. Jolie, Freeman, and McAvoy should have their acting licenses revoked for signing onto this repulsive dreck.

4 of 5 stars to this crazy action movie. Combine Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie and you have a powerful combination. When this movie first starts it starts slowly and seems like a dumb movie about a nerd kid. In fact, I almost turned it off. Whats cool is that minute by minute this movie gets better and better. By the end, you have a powerful action movie with solid characters. At first it jumps around a bit with the kid having dreams and some visual experiences that you dont know if theyre true or not. The story is about the son of a secret agent who gets recruited into the agency (The Fraternity). Thru the whole movie, you have to suspend your thinking as things border on fantasy rather than reality (e.g. kid gets shot, they put him into a stone bathtub with fluid that repairs him; or you can make a bullet go around solid objects by putting spin into the bullet). Anyway, they train him and set him into the field as an assassin. Oh, did I mention the truck load of rat bombs? Well, theyre part of the big ending... A good movie, alot of fun though a bit fantastic. Good action and some nice special effects. I understand this was originated from a comic book which might explain the fantastic actions. Worth watching this!

I had seen reviews and trailers for this for so long but just didnt feel like seeing it. I then was in the local PC store and saw a $9 copy of it. I thought, I guess I can spare the $$ for it.. This is the feeling I had about the film before watching it, while watching it and after watching it. Just..sort of, mediocre. While watching this, you have to keep in mind, it is all over-the-top or exagerated. Acting: The characters are original, and it seemed the actors really put some effort into making it worth the $$. Have you ever seen a movie where you thought, These actors just dont care.? (Aragon) This was not the case here. Story: Small spoiler: The basic story is that the main characters father was killed and they hint that he may have been a traitor (or the traitor killed him) and the son is brought into the assassin guild to get revenge. As the son is learning to be the assassin his father was (WOW in a short 6 weeks?), he is given all the tools and chances to find the evidence he needs. The father deserted the family when the son was only 1 week old. When he finds the traitor, the reasons for his actions just seemed like a weve seen this all before feeling. Not the most original story plot but you get the point. Effects: This is where I just felt that we are spit in the face and then the makers said, Thanks for your $$. Many of the driving scenes and especially the train scene were so exagerated and unrealistic that I felt insulted. Everyone knows the smallest accident can make a car undrivable. These cars are shot up, flipped and wrecked and the people still drive them away like nothing happened. Where were the cops in all these chases and shootouts? There was only one scene were cops were involved and they just stood around while a car flipped over their blockade and then drove away??!! Spoiler: The main character says in the movie how he is against just killing someone because he is told to (its fate) and he has a respect for human life but..The train scene showed us the main character had no care for all the innocent people killed in the train crash due to his actions. Also, if an assassin is right next to you and has the chance to kill you, they would NOT shoot the glass out around you. They would just shoot you dead right there. The bullet bending: Although this is possible to do, and was a cool effect, it is done to the extreme so far that it is just impossible and unbelievable. A bullet is fired and curves in a perfect circle back to the originator? Bullets with words inscribed in them such as Goodbye and pretty swirls carved into them? Come on! The tragectory would be thrown off. As stated, the characters are interesting and the acting is not bad at all but the insulting effects that are just so impossible made me give it 3 stars. I will never complain about seeing Angelina Jolie in a healing bath and the sex appeal she brings to most movies is always welcome but its not enough to raise the rating. Game spinoff: If you didnt know, the game they made based off this movie was just as mediocre if not worse.

I loved it from start to finish and everything in between. Buy it, watch it, love it!
