Great pad, I have been using it with a thermostat and It has been doing a good job keeping the tank warm.

Good for germinating seeds and keeping small objects warm.

This product said it was for a 10gal but it has not kept the temp up where it needs to be .

Im actually using this to maintain temperature for sourdough starter and rising dough. With a controller (bought separately) it does this very well. I do notice that it has a plastic/chemical smell. I dont think it is affecting the food, but it is still noticeable after a number of weeks.

No longer stays hot, it is 14 degrees below the set temp after only 6 months. Crappy.

You get what your pay for.

East to setup, buttons were a bit hard to program temperature but eventually got it, set it and forget it
