VIVOSUN Reptile Heating Pad 8x12 Inch with Thermostat Combo Under Tank Terrarium Heating Mat Waterproof for Turtles, Lizards, Frogs, and Other Reptiles

The heating pad turned on and heats like its supposed to. The thermostat, however, does not work at all. Worst part, after installing everything and finding out if doesnt work, have to return the whole setup, heating pad included. Now have to wait for different ones to come in before I can send this one back.

I wish the heat mat was a little bigger.

Worked great for one year and 4 days, then malfunctioned for no apparent reason.

Ive bought 2 sizes of this brand now and will continue to buy as needed. Works great under the glass of my gecko tank and through the reptile carpet, warm enough that they can lay on it and not be too hot to harm them. Highly recommend! The one that is smaller I replaced due to size of tank growing, but my cat loves it in her windowsill.

I use an ink bird thermostat set to 90 for my ball python and it never gets over 79 and its the exact same size as the reptitherm it replaced that was always able to maintain temperature. Do not waste your money on this crappy product because you will have to buy another quality heat mat and waste your time returning this piece of junk.

I got both an 8x12 and a 6x8 for two separate tanks for my hermit crabs. The larger of the two works wonderfully, no complaints. But within a month, maybe less, the digital readout on the temperate control thing quit working. It just reads 0 though the pad is actually heated up. Very disappointed.

Appears to be well made, keeps accurate tempurature, the only negative is the adhesion, I meticulously cleaned the glass, and only about 80% of the adhesive pad stuck to the glass does not appear to affect the operation of the pad.

It’s easy enough to use but the mat just doesn’t have enough power to get the hotspot to anything above 80-90 and it’s a little frustrating.
