My geckos love it. The female will go over and lay right up next to it for hours and hours, the male doesn’t use it as much but she loves it.

Sticks really well so be sure to place where you want it. Easy wipe off and emits heat through glass as if there is no barrier. Does not cause burns or discomfort to snake. Great purchase.

Would not suggest buying it doesn’t heat up my tank well I got the right measurements for a 40 gallon and only heats tank to 75 wouldn’t recommend getting this I would rather just save money for a more expensive one I know will heat my tank like it should

I love the temperature control and its actually perfect size for my 20 gallon enclosure for my beautiful Pacman frog. I have it on the side and was worried the adhesive wouldnt last long but its been on there a month now and its holding strong. I did have a problem with the first product I received but customer service took care of my problem very fast and shipped a new product to me even faster. Very good product and very good customer service, 10/10 do recommend this product.

So first off, I love the actual thermostat, its easy to read, and easy to set and is very accurate from what I have notice. The heat pad however, leaves something to be desired. The instruction booklet says the aim is to achieve your desired temperature in 5hours, it was well over 36 hours before it got anywhere near where I needed it to be. I bought this for a pacman frog with the expectation that it would be able to get my 10 gallon tank from 70F to 80F using it on the side of the tank. The tank has a glass lid and is insulated. I feel as though generally the tank itself holds the temperature/humidity well as I have used this set up in the past but with lights and not heat mats. I read the instructions and applied it correctly. Initially it wasnt able to do get the tank more than 4 or degrees above room temp. This heat pad was rated for 10-20 gallons. I reached out to the company for advice and still havent heard back from them (it has been more than 4 days). With some help from the amphibian community I was able to tweak things to get the temp where I needed it to be. Im disappointed in the lack of response from vivosun. I would not use this particular item on a 20gallon tank. If I had too I might use the next size up for one. All in all, I dont like the companys inability to respond to my questions. I dont think this particular product should be rated for anything over a 5gallon tank. I do like thermostat and I like that there was the option of buying it in a bundle.

Cant speak a bad word about eithers performance thus far.

Great product wish it had an off/on clicker It’s warm to the touch I leave it on all the time for my lil tortoise that will go towards it for warmth. It’s winter and although I keep my houses fairly warm I just thought it’d be a good idea to have this. Would buy it again.

It heats up nicely and stays very close to set temperature. It’s not very thick so makes it easier to apply without worry. It has a sticky back with a removable strip to do so but I just taped it to the bottom of my aquarium so when I upgrade the enclosure it can move with my snake. I recommend this heat mat as it comes with the thermostat and makes it safe so it don’t cause injury to your reptile from overheating.

Perfect temperature when controlled with a thermostat. It really maintains the proper temperature that we have it set for.
