> 3 dayThe projector looks pretty good out of the box. I’d like to be able to tweak color but the software for doing this is only PC compatible and they do not support Mac. Most Colors are pretty good but magenta is dark and not accurate when wet up beside a Flanders reference monitor. I make a living as a colorist so have a pretty good handle on how things should look. Definitely worth the money paid.

> 3 dayOnly objection I have is there limited source input options unlike other projectors. I dont use it for games, but I guess that is what this model is made for. I dont have anything to play on it over 60 refresh rate so I cant tell the advantage of the 240 rate. IDK if it does 3D, based on the menu options looks like not.

> 3 dayI got this from amazon due to 4 plus rating and attractive price But i was dissapointed to recieve a unit with defective audio port . Amazon promptly replaced it. The 2nd unit worked for a month . Then one day i had to switch audio cable and the audio port stopped again . Once again amazon shipped me a replacement. 2 nd replacement unit arrived with a dead audio port . I asked amazon to replace it but they said i need to either return it or work with viewsonic and get a rma replacement. I decided to do an advance rma. This unit also turned out to have a defective audio port. I provided video proof that my speaker and audio cabled worked with my iphone but failed with one of the viewsonic units. And the internal audio speaker was not getting muted when cable was inserted in the back of the unit. Viewsonic continued to maintain i had a defective speaker inspite of sending video proof. They sent me a video of a stock projector working with an ext speaker to prove their point. Ultimately i returned the unit i had from amazon and the rma unit and applied for a refund. I spent a lot of time unpacking , packing and testing 4 units and only one was functional partially . I will not recommend viewsonic

> 3 dayBought this in Nov2022 and according to the lamp usage details I am nowhere near the life of the lamp but as of May 2023 it was already dead. I mean the projector was completely dead. Month 1: great, bright picture Month 2: noticed two dead pixels that show up as bright white dots but decided to live with it Month 3-6: picture seemed a bit darker or fuller as time went on Month 6: no longer turns on. The Lamp indicator light next to the buttons is red. Viewsonic said I would need to mail it to them to troubleshoot and repair.

> 3 dayI dont have much to say about the brightness or picture quality. The built-in speaker has a very high pitched whine until it has been running for 2+ hours. I would not buy this product again.

> 3 dayAfter 3 months of use I saw a small white dot on my screen I contacted Viewsonic. They said they would replace it. They sent me a refurbished unit. See the second picture which has all these white circles all over the screen. I told them I just want a refund and they said I need to go through Amazon. What a hassle this has been.

> 3 dayI bought this projector for our outdoor patio. Some people claim that you can watch things in daylight, that is not true. The picture is visible in daylight but too washed out to enjoy. We use it once it gets dark out and it gets very bright then. This is a 1080P projector and looks great at proper viewing distances (not too close up). We have it projecting an image on a 100 screen. Colors are accurate, picture is bright, and there isnt much visible lag.
