> 3 dayAs the other reviews say, you will spend a lot of time adjusting the colours. Once you think you get it right, if you activate brightness mode or gaming mode, you have to redo the colour setup all over again. I was never able to get it right, I was never satisfied with the colour calibration. If you activate brightness mode, you can use it during daytime, but do not expect any colour accuracy. Avoid at all costs unless you like to spend hours in settings screens and dont mind about colour accuracy.

> 3 dayThis was easy to set up, had it running off a MacBook within two minutes. The short-throw lens is fantastic, but it also projects much wider, easily 100 inches. Picture is crisp, and resolution is great even for high FPS games, which is of course what this projector was designed for. Its also a light unit, very portable. I only wish it had included a padded case at this price. NOTE: if you live above 5000 feet or so, be sure to set the projector to high altitude per the instructions (in the settings menu). This will make the fan run a bit louder, but its worth it to increase the life of the projector.

Greater than one weekEl proyector tiene muy buena iluminación y precisión de imagen pero los colores son complicados de ajustar en especial el rojo.

> 3 dayThis was the cheapest projector I could find that seemed to meet all my requirements without any fatal flaws. I hoped it would cost less. Ive been using this as my main TV for several weeks and so far am happy with it. Notes: - Good brightness. No problem watching in daytime, do sometimes close the blinds. - Internal speaker is OK but we did end up hooking up a better speaker via 3.5mm. - Keystone correction is digital-only. - Lens has zoom adjustment but its limited. - Projector gets quite hot while operating. - Picture quality is sharp, with good color. Overall very happy with the visual experience. So far this projector has met my expectations and I have no major gripes. I will update this review if it craps out...

> 3 dayI got this from amazon due to 4 plus rating and attractive price But i was dissapointed to recieve a unit with defective audio port . Amazon promptly replaced it. The 2nd unit worked for a month . Then one day i had to switch audio cable and the audio port stopped again . Once again amazon shipped me a replacement. 2 nd replacement unit arrived with a dead audio port . I asked amazon to replace it but they said i need to either return it or work with viewsonic and get a rma replacement. I decided to do an advance rma. This unit also turned out to have a defective audio port. I provided video proof that my speaker and audio cabled worked with my iphone but failed with one of the viewsonic units. And the internal audio speaker was not getting muted when cable was inserted in the back of the unit. Viewsonic continued to maintain i had a defective speaker inspite of sending video proof. They sent me a video of a stock projector working with an ext speaker to prove their point. Ultimately i returned the unit i had from amazon and the rma unit and applied for a refund. I spent a lot of time unpacking , packing and testing 4 units and only one was functional partially . I will not recommend viewsonic

> 3 dayFirst off I want to say that I am upgrading from a 720p 3d viewsonic projector so while I think the picture Im getting on this new model looks freaking amazing, it wouldnt be hard for me to be impressed by any 4k projector that I see now. So that being said the picture is truly mind blowing even with only minor adjustments. Next, gaming looks awesome as well (xbox one). I really did notice faster game play because of the low latency. So now my one and only issue I have. It is not showing 3D correctly. The problem is the picture is severely shaking or flickering. I was able to play 3d fine on my old projector and now this one does not. I even upgraded my bluray to a 4k to see if it fixed the issue and still the same. I am using optical hdmi cables 50ft. From projector to source. Have had zero issues outside of the 3d playback so its not cables or connections. I really feel like my unit is defective. And I will likely return and ask for a replacement. The specs say it does 3d so it shouldnt be an issue.
