Snappy Tools Plug Cutter, 3/8

> 3 dayFirst time using a plug cutter. I cut plugs from walnut, a fairly hard wood. Smoked a lot, so I would let up and go back, trying not to overheat the tool. It rounds of the end for easy insertion. Seems like a good price, I only needed 8 plugs, plan to use it more so time will tell. Would definitely recommend.

Greater than one weekI used for my cabinets doors made out of Walnut hardwood. I was able to made 900 pugs easily and the bit feels like very sharp after that. I used my Ryoby press-drill and was very easy to drill 900 pieces. Very nice and excellent quality plugs. BUY IT!- Im a general contractor and used this brand for first time and Im very impressed.

> 3 daymust be used in a solid drill press for optimum results... If tried with a hand drill, it will dance all over the place because the tips are very sharp and travel before penetrating.

> 3 dayDoes cut a 3/8” plug cleanly and with a nice tapered end if you drive it all the way down. I’ve cut about 30-35 plugs in hard sapele and I have had no problems at al. I use my drill press on the slow speed- that’s important. And it cuts the hard wood well. It does heat up some after about our plugs I stick it in some water and start again.

> 3 dayNo complaints. This little thing works perfectly on mahogany, but probably requires a drill press, which is what we used.
