> 3 dayI replaced an existing small Optane drive in a laptop with small battery with this drive, and Im very happy so far. Works great. This is one of the best low power drives around, and since my laptop has a small battery this was an important factor. Temps are also great, only increased by 5-10C while cloning a partition from the old drive. Its been working flawlessly for the past couple of weeks, so I cant speek of longevity. So far, no bad sectors or problems that I encountered. The only draw back is that at the time of writing this 1TB is the largest size they offer.

> 3 dayI was unsure really if I could trust the quality or not of this drive simply because of past experiences with hynix memory being rather hit and miss or simply a bunch of rebranded micron or other brand memory chips on the memory sticks Ive bought from them in the past. I figured the price was good enough and amazon is pretty good with returns so give it a try. Well Ive given it almost 3 months now and the speed is fantastic and very responsive. Ive filled about 1/4th of the drive to 1/2 of the drive space up with games, media, random files and the performance has not dropped. The speeds for read and writing are fantastic and reliable so far. plus having their warranty at 5 years is not bad either. This drive came with no frills to it, packaging was chopped down to just what is necessary and nothing more. no heatsink included with this drive, no software for copying drives(which was ok for me as I was just using it for the extra storage for games and programs alone.). Install aside from the laptop side problems was a breeze, simple slide in and press down and secure with the screw(no screws provided with drive but my laptop had extras in the stick slots so that worked out perfect.). It formatted with not issues and windows recognized it without problems too. Overall at this point I give it a 5 out of 5. It does run warm but according to all data related to these newer style drives that is actually a good thing for their health and performance. It does result in sweatier hands, but hey its winter so at least I got a nice hand warmer. lol If you are on the line between this and samsung I would say unless you want one with already attached heatsink you could do worse for the price. I think for once all the parts and pieces truly are made by this company in South Korea and they are truly high quality. So I for one say go for it!

> 3 dayOne of the best MTBF on this price range with a very valuable chip maker. I grew up seeing hynix chips on memory sticks. I am pretty sure their SSD is as reliable as their other products. Its not the thinnest and though M.2 2280 slots are becoming more common, you still need to check compatibility with your motherboard. I have a Dell T40 Server which does have M.2 slot but I found that Dell disables that in BIOS and no option to enable. I had to buy a PCI adapter to make it usable on this server, not SSD fault but check your compatibility before buying any form factor SSD.

> 3 dayAs an upgrade for my oldish thinkpad, it worked wonderfully. No more worrying about running out of space, at least for a while...

> 3 daySwapped my old HD Hard Driver out for the new SSD drive. and the performance was noticeable right away. my old hard drive was running at like 5% of the speed this SSD is running at. Now I just use my old hard drive as an emergency back up if needed.

> 3 daySo far i have no issues and seen no flaws, have not tried to stress it.. been a couple of boot issues that seems more of bios issues than hard drive.. possible due to frequent power dropouts..
