> 24 hourI bought this for storage expansion on LG Gram 2020. It seemed to work well after data migration, but I noticed that the battery bar of Windows 10 did not change. Looking more closely, it was not possible to charge after windows booting, and it was possible to charge only when windows were shut down completely. Eventually I had to move it to other Ryzen computer and it looks work well.

> 24 hourBeen about a month of daily usage now, and all I can say is WOW. This is quick. This is a time saver. I bought the base model M1 MacBook Air (2020), and its been great for what its worth over the last 20+ months of daily usage. In this case, my storage option was 256GB, which actually isnt much since I am doing more content creation nowadays. Currently using this 2TB NVMe SSD as a storage alternative without breaking the bank. Definitely quick, spiffy, and doesnt overheat with my TB4 external SSD enclosure. I am getting read speeds shy under 2GB/s and read speeds shy under 1GB/s, which are more than enough for my needs. However, read and write speeds may vary for others due to the different enclosures out there. I would definitely recommend this, especially for its value.

> 24 hourA lot of people have never heard of SK Hynix, but believe it or not, they make a lot of the RAM and flash storage chips inside many different smartphones, including the RAM in the iPhone 11 and the flash storage of the Google Pixel 4.

> 24 hourWhile theres a lot of things to like about this drive, Ill just focus on the two big ones -- this drive is not much more money than DRAM-less NVMe SSDs, but outperforms them dramatically. Thats true of a lot of higher-end drives, but the kicker was battery life. This drive added back close to half an hour of battery life (unscientific) compared to the Samsung Evo 970 I swapped out. If battery life is a problem and youre running a higher-end NVMe disk, I highly recommend trying this drive.

> 24 hourCheck out the storagereview.com review of this guy - theres a great chart showing how the random read performance (arguably the most important metric for day to day use) was in a close second place behind the much more expensive 970 pro, and soundly ahead of the WD SN750, 970 evo plus, crucial P5. (Also - check out the Houdini benchmark where it places near the top of the pack, only behind Intels optane drives.) For the same price or less than those, this drive to me is an awesome buy. That performance is backed up by my CrystalDiskMark results, showing some impressive random performance, ahead of benchmarks Ive seen for the competition. My only complaint was that they didnt include a mounting screw in the box, which would have been very helpful. I also liked the eco-friendly packaging! Hoping this drive will last me a long long time.

> 24 hourOne reviewer made a big deal about the price of these drives, saying that SK Hynix was lying about the price of these devices. They werent lying. I bought two of these in late November for under $110, each.

> 24 hourSince I dont currently have an M.2 slot available in my PC, I am using this 500gb SK Hynix M.2 SSD as an external drive via a separate enclosure. The benchmark results reflect slower speeds than those you would get with this drive installed in your PCs M.2 slot. Even so, this is a blazing fast drive that makes data transfer between devices fast and easy, which is why I like using the external enclosure with these.
