> 3 dayI resisted trying Silpat mats as Im a fan of parchment and was worried about the browning of cookies on the mats. Slightly less browning may intact be happening, but I havent noticed a difference in taste. More importantly, after a tremendous amount of holiday baking I can say: *these clean up like a dream *they cool down quickly between batches (this might be an issue for cookies that need to cool completely on a tray - may have to test that). *I helped the environment by not going through at least 2 dozen half sheets of parchment paper I will certainly continue to use parchment paper for certain tasks such as cakes and meatballs, I believe all my cookies will be done on the mats from now on.

> 3 dayIt does what it says. I’ve been using these silpat mats for a while, this is my third one. I really like the rings on this one for placing my cookies. I just need one more buy waiting for a sale.

> 3 dayIt works.. but I need one for extra large cookies. For my 1st trial this really didnt work out because my goal was to make bigger size cookies. I rolled the dough and the balls touched the outside circle and my cookies expanded and were flat. Well after coming back and doing some reviews and additional overview of the description I noticed that the Cookie dough balls have to be no bigger than the center circle for them to expand to the outer circle size. On the 2nd trial they worked out better. But in less there is another version for extra large cookies these are for those who like smaller sized

> 3 dayI bought my first 2 Silpat mats about 8 years ago and at the time was horrified that they were $25 each at Williams Sonoma, but I thought I would see what the fuss was about. I became hooked immediately at how awesome they are for baking anything! Since then I have used those basic sheets at least 100 times and love their versatility and results. However, they are a bit larger than my rimmed cookie sheets so they dont lay flat, and that leads to some underbaked cookies at the margins. I took a plunge when I saw these sheets, hoping they would fit my rimmed cookie sheets. Eureka! PERFECT fit! Made 5 batches of cookies yesterday and their added circle pattern saved me from having the cookies run together and gave me space for a 13th cookie (I usually only fit 12 on a sheet). LOVE THESE. I know they will be worth every penny. Genuine Silpat from France. Try them you will see!

Greater than one weekA friend first showed me hers and I was intrigued. This mat is amazing! Just put it onto your cookie sheet and with no greasing, bake cookies, wipe it off, and voila! No grease on the cookie sheet, no need to do more than cool the cookie sheet before putting it away, and this mat itself wipes off in 2 seconds. Cleanup is a breeze now.
