Weve just got some flooring put in the house and we were struggling with using a mop bucket all the time. Using this is so easy and you throw the pad in the washing machine and youre done! Sometimes one cycle doesnt get out all of the dirt (or at least, it seems stained on there), but it isnt that big of a deal.

I just bought this steam mop in August 2022 to replace the same model I had purchased a year ago because it had stopped working. But I liked it enough to give it another try. (NOTE: I had to order a replacement twice--the initial one I received wouldnt steam or even heat and I returned it. The second one is working fine.) Ive been a fan of Shark steam mops since I first bought one in 2010. Theyre light weight and do a very good job.

It works well enough for a quick damp mop. I dont love it but Ill use it till it breaks. The cord is WAY too short - I have to plug/unplug at least twice for each room in my house (not a mansion). There is no switch to turn it on/off - just is on when plugged in and off when it is unplugged. This is nice if you like to see the sparks fly at your outlet, does nothing for me. After the initial startup, the steam is off more than on. I spend a lot of time waiting for it to actually steam again (5 seconds on, 7 seconds off kind of thing). Its basically a steam iron on a stick, but my iron doesnt stop steaming before Ive finished my trousers. Im actually getting more disappointed with Shark products all the time.

I usually choose either Shark or Bissell floor products. I wish I had gone with Bissell when I purchased a floor steam cleaner. I have 3300 sf of floors to clean and the water container on this Shark product is so small, I have to refill it for each room. It feels cheaply made, too, but I didnt order the most expensive machine, so I feel like Im getting what I paid for. It cleans the floors, both my tile and laminate, and with 7 dogs in the house, I really need it. It did also get a pet stain off one of my area rugs, so that was a pleasant surprise. Would I order it again? Probably not. It feels so cheaply made that Im afraid if I put too much pressure on it, Ill break it. I need a MUCH longer cord and a larger water container. I think it would be perfect for a small apartment/condo, but not for a larger home. Also, whoever delivered it left it outside my gate in a SEVERE thunderstorm. By the time I got to it, the box and inside instructions, as well as the cleaning pads were soaking wet. Not happy with the delivery company.

Love this steamer I’ve had one before and thus one is more convenient.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaat? I JUST mopped my floor TWICE yesterday. The time before that was the last straw. I mopped twice with our NEW mop and I spilled something on the floor. I took a paper towel and cleaned the floor up and what do I see? A blackened paper towel. I research and we have a shark vacuum, you cant go wrong with Shark. BRO, look at those mop heads!!! the one on the farthest right is a new one. It also stands upright on its own, has hooks for the cord, the cord is a nice length (people that expect it to be 50 ft so they can mop multiple rooms without unplugging it, just stop being lazy. Also, use your brain. 50 ft of cord is going to be bulky af wrapped up), the mop heads are nice and thick, and I mopped our kitchen 3 times and it STILL had water left at the end. Worth EVERY penny. If youre on the fence, just get it already.

This is my first steam mop so it took a few minutes to figure out how to work it since there are not buttons. After that pretty easy. The cord is long enough I suppose. I do wish it was cordless. But this version will do. It gets my laminated wood floors clean!

This review is based on the first use...I LOVE THIS MOP! After reading some of the negative reviews I was worried that it would be hard to use or not work well....It works great!! The handle pumping does not require any additional work. Just the natural forward and backward motion of mopping forces you to pump so you dont actually have to do anything extra. For a harder to remove spot, just hold the handle down to release an extra amount of hot steam to power through it. It really brightened up my hard wood floors and I feel like I just stripped away a years worth of pinesol residue. It left a few streaks but I think that was my item fault. I mopped my whole house with one pad. It would probably be much cleaner and more sanitary to change it between rooms. I am definitely going to order some more pads! I have to admit the short cord did get on my nerves a bit, but I dont feel that takes away from the performance of the mop. I also feel the water tank was a little too small, but as inexpensive as this item is thats no big deal. Right now, the only thing that would take away from this steam mop would be lack of durability. It feels pretty sturdy, but Im skeptical its going to last long because of the low price. If it happens to break before its time I will update this review.
