> 3 dayI like this style so much this style of the Shark Rocket Vacuum this is my 3rd one in 11 years. (So roughly last around 5 years on average). I got the original one when it first came out. I have had two of the HV301. Now I want to try this supposedly improved model HV322. This is lighter than the HV301. I love the ease of use and versatility. You can use on your car too. I do have some of the extra attachment that belong with the HV301, and I am happy that is backwards compatible. Specially the powered small roller brush for furniture. The Suction power is comparable. This one the dust cup/container can be removed from the body. It’s a nice feature but I wish they kept the design of the original container where there is no curvature. When you release the latch, this curve at the bottom cover causes some of the dust to be trapped and does not all go in the trash versus the original just plain straight bottom cover. The main thing that happens to it over time is the hose at the bottom of the floor brush roller breaks. (See picture side by side HV322 and HV301 Floor rollers) I think it’s safe to assume that I would have to replace this hose too, usually every 2 years or so. (Very annoying) They do sell the hose on Amazon. The other issue is the plastic this is made of, becomes brittle and the wheels at the bottom of the floor roller breaks at the snap on (usually happens at year 3 after the warranty is over). The snap latch at the top where the filters are also breaks over time. (Which is what triggered me to buy a new one). The plastic this is made of has a short lifespan. Just enough to get thru the warranty period. But it is a nice convenient vaccumm.

> 3 dayEdit - 12/2/18: I still love this vacuum! It functions as well as it did on day one, and cleaning the filters every month is super easy. Being bagless, I love that you don’t have to keep buying things as you go. Also, I just got new, high pile, thick shag rugs a few weeks ago, and I was a little worried they would snag on this vacuum because of the reviews some people left on the rug site, but I haven’t had any problems with this vacuum! I just use the first setting and don’t stay too long in one spot. When I want to get trickier things like dog hair off the rugs, I use the special motorized pet attachment and it works really well without snagging the rug at all. You won’t be disappointed with this vacuum! The one thing that is a little annoying is the crevice tool sometimes falls off if you’re jostling around the vacuum a lot (which you will, because this thing is so flexible and goes everywhere), so just make sure to really stick it on there when you put it back. I also love how easily everything comes apart and new attachments slide on. Everything glides and fits so well, and it feels sturdy. I vacuum once or twice a day because of my dog’s double coat, so it really has stood the test of time. I would definitely buy this vacuum again if I had to! Original - 6/26/17: Omg, I didnt think it was possible but I am in LOVE with this vacuum cleaner. Im the type of person who painstakingly researches all of my purchases before going through with them, and this vacuum was no exception. The reviews were great but this vacuum surpassed my expectations. It is light enough to be able to vacuum comfortably but it packs some serious sucking power. I used to have an inexpensive handheld before I got my American Eskimo Dog, and it showed to be no match for his extreme shedding. I was stressing out because a lot of models, even specifically pet ones, had many negative reviews about the hair getting caught and having to stop and remove it several times each vacuuming session. This product has been amazing and Ive never had a problem with anything, especially hair getting caught. I also have long hair (to approximately my mid-back) that winds up everywhere... Sometimes I wonder how I have any left on my head. This vacuum picks everything up like a champ. I clean the roller after every few sessions to ensure there arent any problems. I have a 650 square foot apartment with tile (kitchen and bathroom), laminate flooring everywhere else, and several area rugs (two of them are thick, shaggy ones that my dog loves to lounge on). The True Pet motorized attachment cleans them like brand new in a matter of minutes. Youll be amazed (and maybe horrified) at what it picks up from carpet/rugs. I empty the canister once per session or so when I vacuum the whole apartment, which is great considering how much it picks up. I cant even begin to tell you how pleasant it is to do everything with this vacuum. Moving it, swapping out attachments, and even detaching the handheld top portion to use by itself is a dream. Everything glides in and out so smoothly. I had to struggle with my previous vacuum to attach the various pieces which was really frustrating and led to chipped nails and an annoying experience. It also overheated several times during each session and would shut itself off, so I couldnt clean the whole apartment with it at once. This model never overheats or loses power. You dont realize how much little things like that matter until you have something better. The vacuum has two suction settings: powerful and tornado (not really but youll see how strong it is). It is not too loud though which is really nice. It also has washable filters so paired with the bagless canister, you dont have to waste money replacing these items. The close to $200 price tag seemed a little high to me at first, but after looking around and seeing how high other models go and compared to how amazing this one is, I cant imagine myself using anything else. It makes it a joy to clean. It stores nicely either on the floor (you remove the top handheld portion and hook it on the bottom) or there is a wall attachment. It takes up very little floor space and honestly, it looks nice so you wont mind if it is visible. There are also lights on both the main floor attachment and the handheld attachment which are amazing. You can see all the little dirt and debris and can even vacuum in the dark if you want to (when picking up dog hair its actually almost easier to do so in the dark because of how well these lights work, especially at angles). This vacuum will not disappoint you.

Greater than one weekI like the light weight and the ability to use in tight spots. I have a Hoover tempo upright that I also use. I believe the Shark is ok for small areas while the Hoover has larger brush so cleans faster. Looking for input from others regarding power as I believe they are similar, with edge to Hoover.q

> 3 dayThis is a great option for those like the convenience of a stick vacuum and power of a regular full vacuum. I was able to put together and use this vacuum within 5 minutes out of the box! This lightweight vacuum does great on my carpet, rugs and hardwood floors. Perfect for picking up all that holiday glitter and tree or decor fallings around the house. No more having to use my hand or other tools to empty the carpet/dirt debris around either the filter or motor. The XL cup is separate and very easy to detach and empty. The plug in cord is extra long too. Besr part: No more having to wait for recharging to clean my whole house from top to bottom. Lightweight to carry up and down the stairs / around the house with ease. I wish it came with the an accessory clip to hold the 3 cleaning tools but planning to purchase separately for convenience. Other than that, I luv it so far, I am totally happy with my purchase!

> 3 dayI live in Florida and its hot enough trying to vacuum without hot air being blown on my upper body. There isnt even a decent brush for baseboard cleaning. I have a Dirt Devil Vision Self-Propelled that has been excellent since 2002. The handle release pedal broke and I cant find a replacement; therefore, I bought this per my daughters recommendation. I have flipped it in the opposite direction to try to get a brush to work on baseboards but its not happening. Poor design engineering. I will check for other accessories for this Shark in the hope that something will improve performance. It doesnt get under everything either as is claimed. I guess Swiffer will do the job better. I have never changed attachments in my life so many times only to be disappointed. I was hoping for a cleaner house.

> 3 dayI previously owned, for 12 years, a Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro corded stick vacuum, and I will not go back to a canister vacuum which I purchased numerous times. Its lightweight, suction is great, and it fits under the bed and most furniture. If you empty the dust cup once a month or sooner, if needed, and clean the filters at the same time, the vacuum will sevice you for many years. Mine probably would have lasted longer if I had remembered to change, or wash the filters when I emptied the dust cup this last time.

> 3 dayThis vacuum is great. Easy to set up and use. Just one thing bothered me. It did not come with the piece to attach the tools to the vacuum.

> 3 dayThis is a great, lightweight, yet powerful vacuum. I really love it and I’m glad that I finally found a vacuum that works for my needs. I would have given it 5 stars, except for one little detail. The replacement filters that came with it are not the right ones for this vacuum! Not only that, but you know how we see recommendations for other things that people buy, along with our main purchase? Suggesting we add more to our carts…? Well, the suggestion was wrong too. The replacement filters are way too big. They are not the right size. I only discovered this after the return window was closed. The good news is that the nice people at customer service are allowing me to return them anyway, but I am having to pay a $3.70 restocking fee. I’m not too happy about this. So, beware of this problem! Don’t buy the suggested replacement filters! I am now having to research this to find out which ones will fit my new vacuum. Luckily, they are washable. So maybe I don’t even need to spend yet more money to buy replacement filters.

> 3 dayI have 7 cats and only 4 areas with carpet, so I didnt need a big vacuum since most of my home is hard flooring. Found the HV322 when it was 43% off, so $150 for a vacuum wasnt a bad cost. Ended up filling the cup twice using it for the first time in my smallest bedroom and let me tell you, that was eye opening. Im sure any brush roller vacuum would have done the same job but what I like about the Shark is: -lightweight -easy to maneuver -2 power modes -bright light -decently long cord -easy to remove dust trap -brush roller indicator light -quick release is high on the stick so you can separate the motor portion, add a crevice tool and hit those tight spots -caught it at a good sale price What I dont like about it: -doesnt stand upright on its own -dust bin requires you to use your hands to clean out fuzz/hair that collects around the filter. Not a huge deal but does make the process a bit messy. -absolutely worthless on hard floors. Youll feel all the trash get kicked back onto your feet and legs from the rollers. This is on the low setting, which Im guessing the brush rollers only turn from the air being pulled past them and not powered by the vacuum. Still, at that low setting, its too much brush action. I have 2 x Mieles I use for hard floors and nothing will ever beat them at that.
