> 3 dayThis is a great option for those like the convenience of a stick vacuum and power of a regular full vacuum. I was able to put together and use this vacuum within 5 minutes out of the box! This lightweight vacuum does great on my carpet, rugs and hardwood floors. Perfect for picking up all that holiday glitter and tree or decor fallings around the house. No more having to use my hand or other tools to empty the carpet/dirt debris around either the filter or motor. The XL cup is separate and very easy to detach and empty. The plug in cord is extra long too. Besr part: No more having to wait for recharging to clean my whole house from top to bottom. Lightweight to carry up and down the stairs / around the house with ease. I wish it came with the an accessory clip to hold the 3 cleaning tools but planning to purchase separately for convenience. Other than that, I luv it so far, I am totally happy with my purchase!

Greater than one weekI love this purchase! Love the light on the hardwood, love how powerful the suction is and LOVE how easy it is to use. Cobwebs are no more, no more crouching to get the cracks by the wall, it’s just so easy and functional!

> 3 dayI travel for work with my dog, living in Airbnb/short term rentals. I’ve found that most STRs provide kind of the bare minimum for cleaning supplies, so I like to bring my own and clean up weekly as I would in my own home. I’ve been fortunate so far to stay mainly in places with hard floors so I was able to get by with a swiffer/broom, but my current spot has thick carpet in the bedrooms. The couch here is also fabric, my last few places had leather couches, and the fabric is attracting a lot of fur. After a few weeks the fur build up was getting to be too much and I decided to invest in a vacuum to join me on my travels. I had a few criteria in mind: • lightweight/packs small • could clean either carpet or hardwood • poweful enough to manage pet fur • convertible from floor to handheld This Shark really checks all of the boxes! The dust tank is on the small side, but large enough that I can get through the large master bedroom without emptying it, so that’s really all that matters. I’m super happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to any travel nurses or others in similar situations

> 3 dayGreat suction!! Great for quick everyday quick cleaning. Just wish there was a way these could be made to stand on their own. Realize the weight if the top wont allow self standing but wish companies could come up with a solution. Only thing I dont like about this vacation. LOVE tge ease of use and power though!!!

> 3 dayWhen unpacking Im seeing lots of plastic. Hard cheap looking plastic. Not a great impression. Well have to see if it holds up to use. I wanted a vacuum for almost everything in my daily use. Floors and carpets, fabric furniture, baseboard and crown molding dusting along with drapes, and window shades. And able to reach under, around, between stuff. A canister vacuum would do all this, but I dont find them as ergonomic. You hold the wand in front and they tag along behind and always seem to be cumbersome. They can offer more suction and HEPA filtering. I think this Rocket stick vacuum is a better way to accomplish all this. Attached to the power head it can work like an upright. Detached it is one piece instead of two-pieces to use. It is lightweight and easy to store. Lots of little features seem well considered and implemented. The angling head works very well better than most Ive used. The LED lights really are useful. BTW, no one mentioned the LED light on the main head unit which illuminates out front enough to be quite helpful. The vacuum power is quite good. Not up to a big floor stander or the larger canister types, but pretty good. The power head is narrower than a big floor stander, but the trade off makes it easier to get under and around objects. Using just the vacuum section for hand held use is very ergonomic. The weight is close to your hand and not very much. The extension is enough you can easily reach anything up to 10 feet high. You can reach behind couches and other objects much easier than if you were carrying or pulling a canister behind you. I find a vacuum I can just grab and use in a jiffy gets used more than a bigger one which is a chore to pull out. On this front the Rocket is just the ticket made for this kind of use in mind. Well have to see if the plastic holds up or causes problems, so Ill leave it at 4 stars and amend in the future. Also as some complain when setup altogether you cant really just stand the vacuum up. Too top heavy. Youll end up having to lean it against something or lay it down. I dont find it too much of a bother.

> 3 dayI ordered this to replace my first Shark (same model number) that finally died after almost 5 years of service. While this one has the same great suction, I was disappointed to see the shortcuts that were, no doubt, done to keep the price point. This one does not have the smaller power head, crevice tool down graded, and most aggravating, the cord is a good three feet shorter. Glad I keep the attachments from the first one.

> 3 dayI bought this as a replacement for an aging canister vac. The fundamental design concept of this Shark vacuum is a good one, but the practical details need some work. First the good. The motor, filters, dust collector, and switch are all incorporated in a compact unit in the top, handle part of this vacuum. In most applications the handle unit will be supported by the extension tube and an accessory resting on the floor, so it is not too heavy. The dust collector has a pretty good capacity and will likely get through an average-size house before it needs emptying. The collector itself is well-designed. It can be emptied while still in the handle unit if you happen to be near a trash can, or it can be removed from the unit for easy transport to a trash can. The dirt comes out easily, with no need for shaking and banging and thereby raising big clouds of dust. The cord is long, which allows for a good range without switching outlets. On the other hand, the cord is long, which can cause some inconvenience with wrangling and tangling. It winds up on two holders, and a neat design feature allows you to swing one of the holders down to remove the whole cord without unwinding it one coil at a time. Power and suction seem pretty good, and the LED lights are surprisingly bright and useful. The turning/swivel mechanism works well. And now for the nitpicking. The business end of a vacuum is where the suction meets the dirt, and it is here where the HV322 could use some refinement. I have mostly hardwood floors, so I figured the Dust-Away hard floor attachment would be my most-used accessory. It is like a combination of a Swiffer and a typical floor brush. However, it has two little plastic wheels on it that rub along the floor, making noise and feeling like they are scraping the floor. In addition, it is about three times bigger than a standard canister floor brush, making it harder to move and to get in all the nooks and crannies. Finally, after using it I feel like I have to take it off and vacuum off the dust that accumulates on the microfiber pad. The motorized carpet attachment seems to work pretty well, with a two-speed brush for low or deep pile carpet. It can also be used on hard floors, but with pretty much the same caveats about size and noise. There is a combination crevice tool/dust brush, which seems like a clever idea but in practice is not so good. The catch that lets the dust brush move keeps pinching me, it is too long overall for easy dusting, and it has cheap flimsy plastic bristles. There is also a motorized pet brush that works pretty well. I dont have dogs or much upholstery, but it did a good job in my car, with a swivel that lets the brush adjust to the surface. I thought I could fix the shortcomings by buying a floor brush and dusting brush. But, it turns out the tube diameters used on the Shark Rocket are not the standard 1 1/4 used by most other brands. With much measuring and analyzing of specs, I finally found an adapter

> 3 daySo far I am loving this vacuum. I was debating between corded and cordless, because I hate a cord, but didnt want to give up power. Ultimately this feels plenty powerful and the cord allows me to reach much further than my previous (dirt devil) vacuum. Speaking of the old vacuum, I vacuumed a small section, then hit it with the shark, straight out of the box and 3 or 4 rows of vacuuming filled the dust cup. I think this shows 1) effectiveness, and 2) why I say the cup is slightly small. It could be that as I use this vacuum, I am less annoyed by the small cup as the carpet will be less dirty. Overall, even if the cup always fills up, Id buy it again. Great power and effectiveness for the price.

> 3 dayThis is a great, lightweight, yet powerful vacuum. I really love it and I’m glad that I finally found a vacuum that works for my needs. I would have given it 5 stars, except for one little detail. The replacement filters that came with it are not the right ones for this vacuum! Not only that, but you know how we see recommendations for other things that people buy, along with our main purchase? Suggesting we add more to our carts…? Well, the suggestion was wrong too. The replacement filters are way too big. They are not the right size. I only discovered this after the return window was closed. The good news is that the nice people at customer service are allowing me to return them anyway, but I am having to pay a $3.70 restocking fee. I’m not too happy about this. So, beware of this problem! Don’t buy the suggested replacement filters! I am now having to research this to find out which ones will fit my new vacuum. Luckily, they are washable. So maybe I don’t even need to spend yet more money to buy replacement filters.
