Anyone who works in a DJ booth, especially mobile, knows that headphone cords can get tangled or interfere with movement. While some dont care about this, others like myself prefer to use a spiral cord that contracts and expands to stay out of the way while giving flexibility. If a DJ is running multiple programs, lights, etc., or working a private event like a wedding, these are simply not good enough. I imagine they are great for listening and the lightweight is good for longer events, but for most DJs who dislike tripping on cords or getting hung up, this is a poorer option than wireless. I recommend these only if you dont mind getting tangled up in long fixed cords or want to look cool in your bedroom.

currently I own HD25 2 sets, HD668b, Ath pro7x, DT1350, Koss PP, Ksc75, Oneodio studio, Status audio, JVC harx700, srh440, HD558, Koss Dj200 pro, JVC HA-S500, JVC HA-S400, HTF600, AKG240, but HD25 beats them all in sound quality department. Compare to M40x and m50 the bass is very tight, imaging is excellent for the cost of sound stage but treble and clarity is just excellent with good PRAT factor. It is not a very V shaped headphones, and a little bit mid bass hump makes is very fun to listen too. on the ear design makes the seal very tight to achieve good sound. construction is great. I bought 2 pairs last year and both look brand new till now. Its very hard to find another on-ear headphones to upgrade from this headphones, HD25 is just too perfect, but Oneodio studio over the ear offers almost same sound with the expense of maybe 15% sound clarity and it is just below $25. both HD25 and Oneodio pair very well with my Sansa Fuze plus and clip jam very well. They dont need extra power to drive them. for people with lower budget the Oneodio studio less than $25 is a better option.

They started shorting out before I could even use them for a recording class (which recommended them). Since I needed them in a hurry, returning wasnt an option. It was a struggle as they would cut in and out unless I held them just right. [EDIT: I eventually just pulled out the connectors and put them back in when this happened every now and then. In 2022 I had to replace the cord because the wire broke after years of bending. The earphones have worked fine over the years since I bought them and I would buy them again (unless I find something better)

I’ve been a DJ for 40 years and always knew of these but never got a pair or even tried them. I was super late to this party (lol) but they definitely are what everyone says they are. AMAZING

would be nice if manufacturer made some discounts on this product even 1 day in a year. and adding some additional wires and spare parts inside too. but quality is excellent, nothing to add. thanks to manufacturer again, we are happy

These headphones sound very good and can get LOUD. I took a chance on these as Ive seen many DJs and producers use them. As a DJ myself, Ive used many different headphones from all different price points. Although I love how these sound, the build quality is awful. All cheap plastic construction and faux leather on the earcups and headband that rips/wears very easy. Ill stick with my Audio Technica ATH-M60x headphones. MUCH better build quality and just slightly flatter sound. The HD 25s have slightly boosted low frequencies. Overall these are overrated. Ive been told the older models were better quality.

Noise cancellation was just right for my setup in my apt while spinning records, they fit well too and I have a BIG head with dreadlocks

Well-built and durable for location use, good passive noise cancellation, fit is fine, glad to finally purchase and use as a monitoring device. Recommended, especially for the replacement parts availability.

These headphones are really nice. The sound quality and the noise cancellation is really nice. I also like the capability of being able to fold one of the ears off to the side, i works well when mixing music. My only complaint is that the headphones themselves are a bit small for my big ears. They put alot of pressure on them and after not even 30 minutes, my ears start to hurt. Sad since I paid a pretty penny for them, but that was my own fault for not looking into it more.
