After only literally having these headphones for two weeks, the left ear is the only one playing any sound. I have encountered this issue before but usually after some reasonable wear and tear from using them out. Literally only used these once or twice and kept them secured in q case. For the price of $120 they are a total RIP OFF. Never purchasing again.

Thank you for offering this product on Amazon. I love the brand and I am fully aware of how they pack their items in the boxes. Upon delivery, the box did not have proper wrapping or seal. Inside the box - headphones were just placed in the black sheet instead of being wrapped and placed in box containers.

Well-built and durable for location use, good passive noise cancellation, fit is fine, glad to finally purchase and use as a monitoring device. Recommended, especially for the replacement parts availability.

    Good Sennheiser for DJs

I thought Id upgrade to these after having a pair of Sony Professional over ears for the first few years I learned to DJ. These cost about 60 bucks more so I expected them to be great. Good: The sound on these is excellent and barely anything is lost with the on-ear design. Theyre lightweight and comfortable, you could mix with these for hours and your ears wont get sore or sweaty. Bad: Every negative thing about these comes down to the build quality. The rubber pads peel immediately after you start using them, right off the bat. The wire is super short, so these things get ripped off your head pretty frequently if youre active behind the decks. After that, it was about three months before the connectors started getting loose and making crackling noises and drops in volume. I constantly have to fiddle with the connectors to get the sound to come through correctly. The connectors are not enclosed, so its easy to bump them and loosen them. Eventually, the left one started to do the same. It was too far outside a return window to do anything about this and Im pretty unsatisfied with these. Stick with cheaper Sony headphones until you can go up one more tier and stay far away from these.

Cups fit tight - even on my narrow female head (and I have small ears, too). Its good for the noise isolation. Its meant to be that way. Only the left ear cup swivels. I thought both would, so that was a small letdown since I didnt see mentioned anywhere. I didnt even get a bag or anything to hold the headphones. I knocked off a star because even all of my $100 casual/budget/gaming headphones that I bought over the years ALL came with a nylon bag at least. I guess they had to skimp out somewhere, he? Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT buy these for casual listening to keep on your head straight for several hours. They are not meant for that purpose. Your ears will choke, get sweaty and get fatigued.

These, sound wise, are on par with the Momentum 2s or the HD599s or the AKG K451s. If youre familiar with those and like the sound signature, youll get more of the same with the HD25s. I found the clamping a bit much out of the box but gently stretching the headband reduces the clamping. I like the adjustable split headband. I like that nearly every part is replaceable. Im not wild about the stock ear pads and plan to replace those soon with something plusher. That said, I wouldnt hesitate to buy this model again and certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great portable sound. Ive played it through my headphone amp, my receiver, my television, and my telephone. It performs well on all. This model really excels with flacs, compact discs, or hi rez streaming. The sound is energetic yet balanced and easily heard in loud environments like public transport or airplanes. The soundstage is virtually non-existent but I barely noticed because the sound is so wonderfully tuned. The HD 25 handles all genres well. Ive been able to wear these headphones for a few hours at a time. YMMV.

I love the headphones, which is no surprise because I loved the previous version (HD 25-1 II). My only note to buyers is to make sure you are careful whom you buy it from. I bought this listing beliving that it would be the HD25 Plus (as thats what it says in the product title) which comes with a pouch, extra pads, a curled cable and a little bit higher of a price to match. What I got in the box instead was the base HD-25 (no difference in the headphones themselves, just the accessories and slightly cheaper of course) which is annoying. Not enough to be really mad, but its made it clear that headphones are probably one of the things I will have to buy in person so I know exactly what Im getting before they get my money.

These are not everyday use headphones. These are true DJ headphones. Theyre not for producing either. If you keep them on your ears for 2 consecutive hours they will start digging into your ears and thats not comfortable at all. However, they are truly perfect as DJ headphones. Well balanced sound, good grip so they dont slide down when theyre resting on your head. Im glad I purchased these.

Great, lightweight headphones. Not the best noise isolation overall but you can’t expect that from on ear headphones such as these. Super lightweight and comfortable but I would highly recommend upgrading the ear pads as the original ones are slightly thin and not super padded. Super loud without much reduction in the sound quality when used with my DDJ-RX controller. 5/5 with and ear pad upgrade, 4.5/5 without
