SENNHEISER HD 660 S - HiRes Audiophile Open Back Headphone

SuperB quality.

These are certainly well performing headphones, but in the final analysis they are just OK. Imaging and soundstage are good, neutral to warm sound, non fatiguing, good for long listening sessions.

I buy a lot of headphones and IEMs. Currently at over 100 pairs, and since buying these I havent even thought of buying anything else. Havent even browsed to see if theres some new hotness. The sound on these is spectacular when it comes to gaming. I had no trouble figuring out direction and separation of sounds.

Great headset but requires an AMP to sound good, using GSX 1000 with this and the clarity is insane, however I am not sure if it is worth the 500$ (iam a normal gamer who casually listens to music), the GSX 1000 can make any regular headset sound almost as good.

The presentation and box the headphones came in were amazing. The headphones themselves... im not so sure.

I love these, the earphone itself feels a bit stiff. The sound is great, and got them on sale so awesome value there.

Ill be comparing it to the HD600 which I bought at the same time to try. TLDR: Im keeping the HD600 and returning these.

Absolutely amazing headphones, stunning clarity beautiful sound stage and also the same exact thing as the massdrop 58X Jubilees. Literally the same exact thing for 150$ vs what these are going for. Google friends

Very detailed headphones , these headphones are fast detailed and give a level of spatial sound with foreword mids , accurate highs and bass lines that make it more holographic than Bayer dynamics headphones. The sub bass is present but not thumping like some other wonderful headphones from Sony etc.

The Sennheiser veil is a real thing, and if you dont mind it, these cans are Cherry.
