SENNHEISER HD 660 S - HiRes Audiophile Open Back Headphone

I love these headphones, they feel incredible, sound incredible, and I can wear them all day. There isn’t a thing I don’t like about them, I got a bad pair at first but they had another pair out to me the next day

The headphones have natural and pure sound, typical signature of Sennheiseir with strong bass, detailed mids and sweet highs. This should be used with a headphone amp. However At $500 there are several options to compare, these are Like New at $350, so, ...

If you could only own two headphones, these and the dt1990 pros are all that you need. The mids sold me on these headphones.

A big disappointment if youre coming from the Yamaha MPH-MT8.

When I realized that I needed a second set of headphones so I could listen to my vinyl, without bothering anyone else in the house, I looked at Sennheiser first. I had just sold my long time Sennheiser HD-600 and I missed that laid back sound.

Really good headphones. Great clarity, really good details, not recommended if you are looking for a lot of bass.

These headphones are not depriving the audiophile anything. If you are a critical listener, you will not be disappointed. Great value.

These are my first Sennheiser headphones, I own Fostex, Grado, HiFiman.

Im coming from a set of Beyerdynamic dt990pros, which are apparently notorious for being too harsh in the high-end so I was a bit disappointed in the lack of high end clarity... At first. Since using them as my primary set for a while, Im understanding why folks think that, and they sound more natural than they did at first, though the dt990s still feel like home to me.
