SENNHEISER HD 599 Open Back Headphone, Ivory

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD438s, but I hadnt used them much in the recent years. I was more into TWS earbuds and then transitioned to wired IEMs. I recently dug out my old Sennies for a change and really appreciated the forgotten comfort and sound signature. So, I decided to research todays headphones. The HD 599 SE was in the right price bracket (Ive spent way too much already, according to my wife!!) and the reviews gave it high marks for soundstage, comfort, sound signature and open-back bass. I knew Sennheiser was durable. My HD438s are still in excellent condition after 11 or 12 years. The SE traditional coloring is much better suited to my taste than the HD 599.

The sound is good but it crackles intermittently and sometimes frequently in my ears. I would not buy this product.

molti si lamentano di queste cuffie perchè non riescono a sfruttarle come dovrebbero, partiamo dal presupposto che già a casa mi ritrovavo con un buon dac/amp un filo k3 ho subito capito che non andava bene per queste cuffie ci vuole qualcosa dove regoli bassi e alti dal dac/amp ho cercato un pò in giro e ne ho trovato uno da 50 euro fosi audio dac-q4 ho pensato una cinesata, ma quando mi è arrivato buoni materiali costruttivi controllo bassi e alti e qualità del suono ottima collegando queste cuffie hd 599 gli hanno ridato la vita! spero di essere stato d aiuto

Cascos con una calidad de sonido excelente. Aíslan del ambiente y dan una música cálida.. Tal vez un poco pesados por ponerles una pega, pero valen la pena. El sonido excelente seguramente no existe en un producto de miligramos. Muy Recomendables.

I bought these as a replacement for a set of Sennheiser HD 598SEs that have served me well since 2016. Unfortunately OEM parts are difficult to track down unless you want to go with third party stuff (I dont because of preference). I listen to a lot of different things on my headphones: podcasts, classical, movies, rock, you name it, and the difference in the sound of these headphones is clearly different to my old set. Its not much worse, but something in the construction has changed the quality. A comment in the Q&A section says that the sound is tighter which a good descriptor-- the sounds in the upper mid range are the ones most affected by this, and not in a good way. Its as if theyre bouncing off a wall, or something else is impeding it. Aside from that, the sound quality is what Ive come to expect from Sennheiser.

Soy muy seguidor de sus productos de Senheiser, me habían llamado siempre una audífonos over ear, Los que tengo los HD 400s y HD 3.50 no son realmente cómodos hasta que me comentaron de estos, las almohadillas son muy cómodas y puedes estar con ellos todo el día, hay ocasiones que se te olvidan que los traes puestos, el ajuste es el adecuado no te aíslan del ruido exterior pero al momento de escuchar sientes un vacío y buena acústica, los graves no son buenos por los amantes del bass pero tiene unos medios y agudos excelentes, son más audífonos de estudio que para el día a día para los amantes de la música. A mí punto de vista son de buenos materiales y con el precio estuvieron excelentes. Su cable se puede quitar y no se siente de mala calidad. Buena opción para estos tiempos de home, por cierto no traen micrófono que eso hubiera sido un excelente plus.
