Very content with these. These sound incredible when coupled with a good DAC on my computer. Bass is good but restrained. Sound precision is on point. I use these for music, movies, and gaming. Highly recommend.

These headphones are the latest in my repertoire. I had the Shure SRH440 which are the best bang for your buck. I replaced them with the SRH 940. Excellent (even better ) sound reproduction, but seem cheaply made. I know they are all some type of plastic but the 940s seem fragile. I have the Bowers and Wilkins PX for travel which are nice but there is a sense of truncated sound at the low and high ends. Still they serve their purpose. Now the HD599. I had no idea what headphones could sound like. I realize the open back makes the difference, but it feels like I am sitting in the middle of the band. The sound reproduction is amazing with clear sound levels in all. If I listen to a concert, I actually think the flute is over my left shoulder with violins to the right in front of me. Lastly, they are very comfortable. Fit just perfectly (certainly not my PX). Hope this helps.

Amazing sound quality and super comfy

Wer tollen Klang sucht mit gutem Sitz und schickem Design ist hier richtig. Der Kopfhörer macht einfach nur Spaß! Habe Overears gesucht, mit denen ich NICHT abgeschottet bin, und dieser Kopfhörer bietet die perfekte Mischung zwischen Umgebung wahrnehmen und dennoch ungestört Musik hören. Auch wer große Ohren hat dürfte hiermit glücklich werden, und wem selbst DIESER Kopfhörer nicht passt sollte auf inears umsteigen. Die Polster sind RIESIG. So macht Musik hören (hauptsächlich Metal, Rock und Oldies) RICHTIG Spaß, zumal er echt schick aussieht und sehr robust und gut verarbeitet ist. Klare Empfehlung!
