SENNHEISER HD 599 Open Back Headphone, Ivory

Bequemer Sitz auch nach längerer Tragezeit. Toller Sound. Das Kabel hatte sich in den ersten Monaten immer wieder von selbst verdrillt. Das war lästig! Hatte den Kopfhörer jetzt 2 Wochen in einem kühlen Keller. Kabel verdrillt sich nicht mehr... Falls noch jemand solche Probleme hat: Kabel für ein paar Tage in den Kühlschrank!? Frag mich nicht, warum das so ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Je l utilise sur une carte mère Gygabyte Z390. Le son est sublime. L impression que le son est diffusé dans la pièce. Le soundstage est bluffant. La finition est soigné. Pas trop chaud sur les oreilles. En agitant la tête ont ventile les oreilles en même temps. Le casque est légé.

casque de très haute qualité, javais déjà un Sennheiser depuis quelques années mais jentends une belle différence de qualité sonore, sans être un spécialiste du son, jai la sensation que lorchestre et la voix sont pris séparément !!!! , jai presque limpression de pouvoir écouter soit la voix soit la musique, soit les deux en même temps !!! jespère que vous me comprenez !!!! et si vous écouter un chanteur à texte ..... alors cest le bonheur !!!! encore un plus, la câble du casque est détachable et on vous fournit 2 câble de longueurs différentes, mais soyez attentif pour enlever le câble, faut pas tirer dessus mais faire un demi-tour pour lenlever

High quality sound from a reasonably priced product. Only listened to streamed Amazon HD on my iPhone so far at HD quality but very pleased with warm but precise sound quality. The sound stage is pretty good too on some songs. Not a 5 star due to fit of the cables (not perfect), ear area can can sweat after 1-2 hrs of listening and some sounds a bit too strident on some songs (but this may be caused by the source and/or iPhone).

Theres far too much mid / bass which drowns out the treble so they end up sounding boomy and muddy. I bought to replace my HD-380-pros but these are definitely a regression from the sound Im used to. However, they are comfortable, and look more reliable.

These are very nice headphones and they sound real good for VJ headphones and especial if using a microphone because they sound like they are sloped up in the midrange about 2.5 decibels and that makes them a big number one to me for VJ headphones and thats what I was purchasing them for and found they work very good. I think the cables should be 2 meters and do like they are lasi coiled up because those fray and so do cables that are too short sooner also and some might like the cable length to be around 2.5 meters because they stand also and so 2.5 meters might be the most practical cord length that has ever existed for headphones. Also on the headphones they are open back and wish that closed back in the same design exist someday and the open back they are a little louder around the outside of them then some closed back headphones and yet they are still pretty quiet and yet being a pretty big easy number 1 choice for VJ headphones I think they should also be offered in closed back with the same look and design and feel and by that I mean comfort and the sound capability of the headphones. I wear three sets of studded earrings in both my left and right ears and these headphones clear those and so wearing those kinds of earrings for me is very comfortable and I lasi have to take them out of my ears. Real nice VJ headphones and a #1 I think for sure in the list of headphones amongst other number 1s for VJ headphones.

I bought these to replace the beat up old closed back Sennheisers I use for practice with my Chapman Stick. The sound quality turned out to be better, even the bass, than the old headphones. In addition, it turns out I love the sense of the music playing in the space I occupy instead of transporting me to an isolated sound space. I dont mind background noises, the sounds of people nearby, my dog shaking out his fur, the Yamahas and Harleys a quarter mile away; its all music to me. But what I gain are the almost delicate direct, unamplified sounds of my hands on the neck and strings, sounds I didnt know I was missing until I started using these phones for a time.

Very comfortable, sound awesome, I had 558 before, and I was not happy with them, but 599 is beyond expectations. Im not a big music lover, I just connect them to the Mac and listen when I want to listen to some music.
