14-11-2024I bought the PC38X a few weeks ago and I was blown away with how nice they sounded, even for music. Because theyre low-powered, I can listen to music on my iPhone and get amazing audio, even with AAC.

Greater than one weekI am using a G6 DAC with this and the default sound without any profiles used, etc.. sounds a bit muffled. Voices dont sound like they would in real life ( It helps to record audio from someone you know and play it back to help calibrate ).

> 3 dayThis thing sounds amazing - the detail on these cans is unparalleled at this price point. They are extremely neutral as well, but I did not find it too fatiguing although some tracks did sound worse. This is because the HD560s does a good job of revealing bad mixes, but also making good ones shine. Perfect for me as a producer. Unfortunately, the right ear had a little buzzing when playing low-end, so I ended up returning the headphones - most definitely a quality control issue which I didnt expect from Sennheiser, but Ill give them a pass this time. Will be looking to purchase them again in the very near future.

Greater than one weekAll the Sennheiser headphones I tried and reviewed are well built and of high quality standards. Everyones preferences are different, and Sennheiser truly has something for everyone--whether a bassy soundcurve for punch (for dance music, DJing, and fans of genres of music which rhythm is important to them), a neutral soundcurve for authenticity (for Classical music, movies, music as it is originally mastered, Musical Theatre, and TV series), or a trebly soundcurve for clarity (for audiobooks, news, sports, talkshows, and vocal music if understanding what is being said/sung is more important than reproducing how they sound in real life). I am looking for a well-built pair of open-air/open-back/open-ear headphones with a neutral soundcurve. This pair of headphones has a trebly soundcurve. I returned these based on my preference, not because they are a bad pair of headphones. In case anyone is wondering about the truth to the rumors of the HD 400 PRO being a hyped up HD 560 S, Based on my personal first hand experience, they include different cables and arent available in black. Other than that, I dont notice any difference in the audio. They are an awesome pair of headphones. But I returned those again because of my personal preference.

> 3 dayI had the HD 599 which are very light and comfortable headphones, I could easily forget I was wearing them, and essentially have them on all day. But these 560S constantly squeeze my head (I by no means have a large head), theyre just uncomfortable to wear for any amount of time.
