The excellent sound quality of the Sennheiser HD 560S headphones is just what Ive wanted for listening to music. They provide a wide sound stage; balanced, neutral sound quality with good, tight base; and lively, lifelike musical reproduction without fatiguing my ears. Overall they cannot be beat for their price range, and are also very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. (Though I did subtract one star for comfort because they do clamp my head a little too firmly around my glasses stems behind my ears; however, for just music listening without my glasses on, this has not been a problem). They also perform well when watching movies or Netflix series, though my close-backed Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones do present deeper, more authoritative base (which can be truly impressive in certain scenes). However, the M50x headphones are not as open and natural sounding. They also do not provide as much open space around the ears and the padding on the M50x ear cups and headband is not as comfortable for longer viewing/listening sessions. It should be noted that the Sennheiser HD 560S headphones are corded without any noise cancellation feature. Because they are open-backed headphones, surrounding sounds can be audible to the listener. This is not as issue for me since I use them in a quiet environment.

What I have heard so far I am impressed with the Sennheiser HD 560S.Currently used on a computer with Schiit Modi 3+/Magni headphone amp these shine on Spotify.Well mastered audio/cds will bring forth little nuanced music that was likely hidden previously. Now the disclaimer.Poor recordings and/or sub-par stereo gear will limit the full potential to come through. But you dont need super pricey gear to enjoy these, even a modest set-up will work just fine.So far I have noticed that acoustic music, classical, jazz and more will benefit from the Sennheiser 560S headphones, even my 70 year old ears will attest.Enjoy.

Not what many reviewers claim.... Very mislead. Sound quality is very harsh with mid highs. Yes flat as claimed and what Im looking for but with harsh mid highs it negatively impacts any expectations of using them for Sound engineering. And the build quality? Horrible!!! Cheap old jvc Walgreens quality build. Unbearable.... truly disappointed after all the hype!!!

Sound is louder on the right compared to the left. No physical volume control on the headset. Would not recommend getting this headphone.

    Greater than one week

Im a huge fan of the Sennheiser brand, I thoroughly enjoy the sound signature that Sennheiser deliver. The HD560s definitely dont disappoint in giving a full body sound stage experience - enjoyable bass, mids and highs.

Im absolutely in love with these headphones. Im not usually one with a fine enough pallet to notice the higher end of products to a reasonable enough degree to condone them. These made a literal world of difference. I work in IT and then game as my primary hobby, so I spend a lot of time with headphones and the sounds coming out of them. These are amazing when it comes to general music use, I never thought it would make that much of a difference, but it does and unfortunately, I dont have the vocabulary to explain it here in a more technical sense.

These sound amazing, but are insanely uncomfortable. My head slopes to a bit of a point at my chin, and this pair squeezes my head right above my ears. If you have a rectangular/square, or round head, these would probably fit you better.

I use these for my PC and my phone they are great headphones sound a little better with a amplifier but you dont need one. Super light weight but not in a cheap way if that makes sense. They sound amazing compared to my other cheap headphones the soundstage sounds amazing much more fuller. Would recommend these to anyone wanting to get I to good audio gear.

These are my first open back headphones, they were an upgrade from some cheap tascams. I do music production as a hobby and i game so I wanted headphones that would do both, i run these through a behringer umc404hd interface and it drives them well. These are very detailed sounding headphones, the high frequencies are a bit sharp coming from closed back headphones but you get used to it, especially because you dont need loud volumes to hear details in all ranges, bass is definitely subtle, but punchy and sub bass has a nice range, its not like youll notice its there but youll notice if it isnt, depends on the song. Soundstage is hard to explain, coming from open back and in ear headphones and earbuds I always like the inside your head sound and coming in to these I was expecting a kind of out of head experience, which it can be, depending on the sound design, but for most songs, although there is a difference its not groundbreaking, people will mosly no notice. The bleedthrough is not bad and since i use these while gaming, my friends havent complained about sound coming out of these, but then again i have a dynamic mic, also you wont hear your surroundings that well, i can barely hear someone coming into my room, so if you wanted more spacial awareness these wont really help. Now the one thing I struggle with is the comfort, its not like these are uncomfortable but theyre pretty tight out of the box, theyre a bit on the heavier side of light and being used to on ear headphones having nothing touching my earlobes but my temples being pressed is a weird feeling, also the earcups are elongated so i feel the edges pressing against my jaw. The headband is very fluffy, so you wont feel it at first, but it is narrow so if you dont position it well it hurts after a while, in general these headphones dont seem to find their place on my head, probably is my head shape but most headphones you put on just tend to grab your head a certain way and then you forget about them, whereas these take some extra adjusting constantly, which keeps reminding me i have headphones on, and that takes away from the experience of the great sound, i cant get imersed as easily. The great sound makes up for a slighly uncomfortable headset, ive only had them for two weeks so im expecting them to keep breaking in, also the cable is way too long, senheiser should sell shorter cables as this is replaceable but i havent found a good replacement.
