Plugged into my instrument right away, feels way much better than my Shure closed-back headphones. Super light and comfortable.

I wanted like these headphones but the quality is lacking on them. There is a faint rattle in the right headphone speaker when there is a female voice and bass (tried multiple tracks). I guessing something was not glued properly. Also the left channel cuts out when using the supplied 1/4 to 3.5mm adapter bending the adapter cord gets it to work again (definitely a short). For what I paid for these I expected better quality.

These are great headphones. I thought bass would be lacking based off reviews. Um no! These things slam low. Only bass they lack is MUDDY BASS, and thank goodness. Honestly These are just about the perfect headphones in terms of tone. Everything so nice and smooth while having just the right touch of crisp cymbals and top end!

If you want great quality with fair cost, that’s the way to go! I am just listening to all my loved music all over again and again!

Let me preface this by saying this is my third pair of Sennheiser headphones - first the HD58x, then the PC38x, and now these. I will also add that I have an extremely large head, so comfort is sadly hard to come by for me. Having said that, I find these to be more than adequate in terms of comfort and the sound quality is just excellent.

I have tried MANY Sennheiser like the overrated HD600 and 650. The 560s is MUCH better than those with a more robust balanced sound unlike those mentioned which rolloff their bass way too high and sound thin.

My 17 year old asked for these and two weeks after the return period, something went wrong. ☹️ So now he wants a new pair

So about a month ago I decided to buy my first nice quality set of headphones and after dumping a truly embarrassing amount of hours into researching the rabbit hole that is the audiophile world, I ended up pulling the trigger on getting a pair of these. I gotta say, after owning them for about a month and comparing them with a few other headphones, I really like these.

The HD 560S indulges the audiophile evaluating their music’s entire journey through the audio path. This open-back headphone is tuned to reveal the truth in your music without sacrificing the gratifying bass response needed to reproduce complex modern music—all at a breakthrough value. Its transducers are angled to recreate the optimal triangular listening position for a wide, articulate soundstage. The lightweight design of the HD 560S gives the listener a “barely there” experience for extended listening
sessions. The low-impedance drivers offer the flexibility to reproduce hi-fi sound on virtually any of your audio devices such as portable digital audio players, laptops, A/V receivers, audio interfaces and more. A detachable 3 meter cable provides the perfect amount of freedom to access your gear, and features a
6.3mm plug with a flexible 3.5mm adapter. This combination of accuracy, wide sound field, smooth bass performance, and long-term listening comfort make the HD 560S suitable for hi-fi aficionados and music tasks alike.
