> 3 dayThe blurb summarizes the book so good that theres no reason to bother anybody with my recap. In any case, having read the first installment of the series I had high expectations for this book and was a quite disappointed by the outcome. The plot was predictable, the main characters very stereotypical. Sorry, didnt like this one that much.

> 3 dayI felt I was on a roller coaster things happen so fast at the end and some of it far fetched. There is sex outside of marriage and heat level 4.5 out of 5. I didnt feel a connection to the couple, and not sure why. Maybe because their first encounter and them fighting their attraction happens before the story begins. There is plenty of action, suspense and that raise my rating because I couldnt read fast enough to see how it ended. What happens to her friend also had me suspending realty - lol. No cliffhanger and we do get HEA. (ljb)

> 3 dayAnother good book from Elle James. Hunky alpha hero character and a feminine but strong heroine character both of whom are struggling with the loss of a teammate/fiancé and a light touch on the human trafficking issue. All with an HEA.

> 3 dayI enjoyed the book but it had a few story line issues. I really enjoyed the relationship between Remy and Mitchell. They both suffered a huge loss but were able to build on their friendship to become more. The story line is interesting and kept me entertained but it had some flaws. Some parts werent plausible but I really enjoyed the characters. I was provided a copy of the book for an honest review through NetGalley.

Anita as No Diva
Greater than one weekARC provided by the Publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This novella gets an extra star just for having a really intelligent, not to mention hot, heroine. So I guess that means is gets 6 stars from me, even though I can only post 5 stars. This book is way to short. It was like reading the last 100 pages of a really great full length book. This would have been so good in full length. It is also my favorite type of romantic-suspense: The hero and heroine work together to solve the problem. Mitchell is an NCIS agent whose best friend, Kelli, is a Navy Lt. Commander who is missing. NCIS assigned the case to an agent who isnt doing everything he can to find her. Mitchell takes leave and goes undercover as an erotic dancer to find Kelli. Remy is a SEAL who lost his best friend in combat a year ago. Mitchell was dating the friend at the time, but Remy had already noticed her and when the friend died, he was there to aid and comfort Mitchell. He returns a year later to, hopefully, resume a relationship with Mitchell, one not based on grief and guilt. He finds her in the middle of her undercover operation, without backup, and agrees to help.
