> 3 dayAfter reading many, many, bad reviews on this product, I bought it! :) With that being said this is worth every penny, even considering this monitor is double the price if you buy it from their website. My side monitors shown are the sceptre E248W-FPT. You can clearly see a vivid picture quality difference between the 2 different monitors. This monitor has an amazing picture quality and refresh rate. I highly recommend buying this monitor if you’re looking for a monitor for gaming. Only, and I mean the only downside to this monitor is that it doesn’t have G-sync. Other than that, I’ve had no issues with this product.

Greater than one weekPackage made it safely and in a timely manner. I’m upgrading from playing on a 60 hz laptop screen to this. All I can say is this was worth every penny. I play fortnite and valorant frequently and I’m finally getting to put my GPU to good use at 144hz refresh rate. Havent used dp cable for 165hz... yet. But either way, I’m glad I made this purchase. Although I wouldn’t buy it for $300 like Neptune electronics is trying to do on here. I got it when they released this monitor for about 180? That price is worth it.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor in jan 21 and just recently bought a g-sync compatible 165hz monitor from a brand ive never hear of. This monitor is so much nicer than the one I just got while being comparable in price. Actually I paid less for this monitor nearly 2 years ago than its marked at now. Regardless Im here to say the monitor is still pristine and looking sharp as ever. The fact it has speakers is good too cause alot of affordable monitors do not.

02-11-2024Ive only had this hooked up for a couple hours, but Im pretty blown away so far. - No dead pixels. - Up to 165hz refresh rate with DisplayPort (cable included). - Brightness, contrast, and color range are fantastic at default settings. Best Ive ever seen. - FreeSync is an option if you want to give it a try. - The vertical viewing range is excellent. - The horizontal viewing range is decent. One con: I dont like the included tripod mount. Its short, and it has three small points of contact with the desk, so Im buying an aftermarket mount. Luckily the monitor has the four standard screw sockets in the back so it can take an aftermarket mount. Im not letting this take away from a 5-star rating because the value is still very good. Hard to imagine how a monitor could get meaningfully better than this. Best monitor Ive owned, and at under $200 its a steal.

Greater than one week***READ ENTIRE THING*** Pros: -unboxing and assembling was easy and simple -the design is simple and aggressive -the display colors is decent to the eye -VESA mounting is a bonus -the external powerbrick/cable isnt some small dinky short brick, it actually has quite a bit of length, other high refreshrate monitor listings skimp on this, its a small thing but makes a difference -includes a DisplayPort cable (yay) Cons: -Stand is a little wobbily (get a aftermarket stand if youre a little physical with your desk) -Didnt include a HDMI cable, fair given to cut costs -Scuff on the display panel (yes i removed the plastic cover), jarring when white pixels are shown, not too bad when darker colors Notes: -I received the wrong* monitor. I actually received a monitor of the same panel type, refreshrate but at 1440p instead of 1080p, so its a roulette when buying the 27 inch variant I guess -165hz is only available with DisplayPort 1.4, check your GPUs specification for compability.

02-11-2024So, Im going to address the elephant in the room first. I purchased this monitor in August of 2020. It did work great for 90% of the year that I owned it. It reaches 165hz natively without needing to do any kind of overclocking or the like. It has a nice response time in games and is a decent size without being overly large in the event you want a multi-monitor setup. It more than fits the bill for its price point. However, I said it worked great for 90% of the year. This is because the monitor developed some white spots that obscured vision and were very unpleasing to look at around June of 2021. The reason as to why this review still has 5 stars is because of the absolutely amazing customer service Sceptre provided me. I contacted the TA email, and they asked me for the standard stuff: make and model, what the model # was, etc. Then, they told me to make an RMA request to get it fixed. This was done for free, even without having any kind of warranty or insurance. Furthermore, they even provided me with packaging to safely ship the monitor with, and a new adapter/stand upon its return after being fixed free of charge. All I had to pay was for the shipping of the package itself. So while I did have a minor cosmetic issue, (some white spots showing up on the monitor), the amazing customer service and overall reliability of the monitor otherwise let me confidently write out a 5-star review. Youre a great company Sceptre, and Ill make sure to keep you guys in mind for future tech purchases.

> 3 dayI’ve been using it basically daily for about 3 years now and had little to no issue. Got it right when it came out and took a chance on a no review monitor and its been treating me well. I suggest buying a monitor mount for it as the legs do come out a little bit which can be annoying if you want to move your keyboard further back :)

> 3 dayI unboxed the monitor and first thing i realized was something jiggling inside the monitor. I didnt put put it together yet. So when i open the little plastic bags to put the stand together, i also noticed there was a missing screw so from that i figured out that the missing screw is in monitor.. i would have appreciated if there was a heads up at least..
