> 3 dayPurchased this for my Xbox Series S and have no regrets whatsoever. The Freesync technology, coupled with 120hz refresh rate (max output for Series X/S is 120hz), makes gaming silky smooth and no stuttering at all. I recently upgraded from a first generation Xbox One and 60hz monitor, so it was like night and day once I upgraded! The picture quality is amazing and unlike some others, I have not noticed any dead pixels. My only complaint with this product would have to be that the stand is not adjustable, but for the overall price and quality, this is just a minor inconvenience. I highly highly highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI went searching for a monitor to pair with my new gaming PC and came across this one, it was cheaper than most and still came with the desired 144+ hz. When it came to dead pixels I did not have any, so cant say for sure if thats luck or not but thought I should state that since many reviews have mentioned it. It looks great and the extra HDMI ports are very beneficial if you plan on using this monitor for more than just your PC, for example a console. The speakers are alright, it is not the loudest but should work well enough if you do not want to use a headphone while gaming or watching videos close to the screen. Overall if you are looking for a good budget monitor as of writing this review this is definitely one of the best if not the best I have seen.

30-10-2024This is a great gaming monitor. But the shipping sucked. When I received this package, it wasn’t in a separate box. It was just the normal monitor packaging. And it had a damaged box that my Usps has noted. Luckily it wasn’t damaged. Sure, amazon has 100% guaranteed refunds. But what I hassle that would have been. I needed it the same day I received it, and luckily got to use it. But fyi to the shipper, you should really add this to another box with protective lining.

> 3 dayIve only had this hooked up for a couple hours, but Im pretty blown away so far. - No dead pixels. - Up to 165hz refresh rate with DisplayPort (cable included). - Brightness, contrast, and color range are fantastic at default settings. Best Ive ever seen. - FreeSync is an option if you want to give it a try. - The vertical viewing range is excellent. - The horizontal viewing range is decent. One con: I dont like the included tripod mount. Its short, and it has three small points of contact with the desk, so Im buying an aftermarket mount. Luckily the monitor has the four standard screw sockets in the back so it can take an aftermarket mount. Im not letting this take away from a 5-star rating because the value is still very good. Hard to imagine how a monitor could get meaningfully better than this. Best monitor Ive owned, and at under $200 its a steal.

> 3 dayUpdate: I have now purchased a second one to match. Worth it! Original review: I am amazed at the difference moving from a 60hz ms response monitor. This monitor is the best value for the price. Wow. I can’t stop just moving windows around to see the difference in the two monitors I have. Gaming and watching movies on this is buttery smooth. I did not use the stand and mounted it to a dual monitor arm. I was shocked to see how thin the bezel is on this. Just amazing all around. Color, sharpness, speed.

> 3 dayI use this monitor for gaming on my Xbox 1 s, so I cannot take advantage of it’s full potential. However, this monitor has been everything I bought it for. The ips panel is viewable from most angles, and the colors are accurate. The bezels are thin, and there are plenty of inputs. The speakers are horrible, but that is a small con. I have had 0 dead pixels after 2 months, and light isn’t bleeding out the edges. I recommend this monitor to anyone who wants a high quality display for a good price.

> 3 dayI was deathly afraid of dead pixels showing up on my monitor but thankfully I found none. I was able to get this monitor on sale for under $200 which was amazing. I have it on the stand it came with but it is nice to know that I can wall mount it if I want to in the future. I was using a 60 hz monitor before and this is light years better. Would recommend to get this monitor on sale if possible.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of the Sceptre 1080p, 165Hz 23 displays on September 11th, 2020. On November 4th, 2020 one of them suddenly developed two vertical dead pixel lines across the display, and there are visibly different color shades in rectangles around the lines of dead pixels. The dead pixels show up across the Sceptre logo when the screen is first powered on, as well. I will now be putting Sceptres support and RMA process to the test. One other thing to note is that the buttons on the display are along the right edge and on the back of the display. This means for any dual-monitor users out there that you cant reach them when the screen is right up against another screen. This is an incredibly poor design choice, especially for a gaming screen as gamers are much more likely to have two displays vs casual desktop users.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor in jan 21 and just recently bought a g-sync compatible 165hz monitor from a brand ive never hear of. This monitor is so much nicer than the one I just got while being comparable in price. Actually I paid less for this monitor nearly 2 years ago than its marked at now. Regardless Im here to say the monitor is still pristine and looking sharp as ever. The fact it has speakers is good too cause alot of affordable monitors do not.
