Ive only had this monitor for a few days, but I will update if I have any major changes in thoughts on it. That being said, this is my first high refresh monitor, and WOW. I have another light duty, 75Hz gaming monitor from Acer as well, and it pales in comparison. The colors on this monitor are very vivid, and the refresh at 165Hz is so buttery smooth. One thing I will note, it sits low, close to the desk, with the stand a good few inches shorter than my other monitor. Thats less of a big negative (I just put a few books under it for now) but it may be something you might want to be aware of if youre like me, and dont have a very tall desk and like to sit up straight on the computer. The only downside with this monitor is...I want another one, and it just stays sold out!!

Very clear and excellent monitor

These monitors are so good, I have 2 of them. The Positives: The low profile bezel. This makes the transition between multiple of these monitors very seamless. The monitor settings menu is very easy to navigate and adjust quickly Color quality and brightness have not faded over the 2 years I have been using my monitors. There is no light blur like you would get with LED monitors IPS color sharpness is a known feature and this monitor lives up to the hype. The negatives: Viewing the monitor at an angle is dimmer than other monitors. The monitor has to be facing you for the best experience. I often use my secondary for opening reference so I dont always look at it head on. Despite the small edge profile, its not completely edge to edge. There is about a 3mm thick border.

I have owned two of these now, one of which I have replaced. The first monitor I purchased came with a dead pixel in the center of the screen. It was too noticeable for me to ignore, especially when my screen was at its brightest. The dead pixels disappeared behind different colors, however. The current replacement also has a few dead pixels along the edges of the screen. I count at least five total at the time of writing this review. They are outside of my peripheral vision and I really have to look, but theyre there. Overall, the monitor itself is great. Colorful, quick response time, 144hz, pretty competitive price for what it is. I just wish it didnt feel like such a luck of the draw on whether I got any dead pixels.

Ok, so I bought this knowing the Asus brand didn’t have monitors available in stock. Since this had few reviews and I bought it new, I was a bit skeptical but after receiving it today as I do this review it’s amazing for console and pc. If you get yours and it’s grey or has not much color when you turn it on please turn your saturation on to 100, I was really afraid it was a bad one but it arrived with 0 dead pixels and just turning the saturation up and messing with it for a few minutes I found my setting that fit for my eyes and gameplay. I totally recommend this if you have a ps4, planning on getting ps5 or have a pc. Also the response time is very good.

I was looking for a monitor, and my friend recommended me this one. The monitor stand may look a bit weak, but it does the job well. The monitor I received has one dead pixel but its negligible. The speakers are awful, but you shouldnt be using them anyways (please just use headphones). It can tilt a few degrees up and down, but you cant adjust the height or rotate it, which is a bit of a shame. Overall, its a good monitor, especially for its price (I bought it for 180). If you want an alternative, Id recommend the AOC 24G2.

Now Im no professional gamer or know a ton about monitors. I bought this two months ago because I like to game but my wife always wanted to watch the tv. I decided to go with a monitor because I heard it had advantages over a tv such as response time. And yes it is true the monitor feels way better and I feel like I am winning gunfights I would have barely last before..after playing around I found the settings I liked it has been amazing. Very clear picture and great colors. Im happy with this monitor and plan to get another one soon.

165hz with both HDMI and DisplayPort just make sure you have the proper cables and place in correct slot. It works amazing!
